Just ok type... could have improved the taste of rice... Chicken and rice were cooked well
Had ordered a quarter portion of beef first, wasnt tender at all. I advice all to first taste the meat before ordering large portions. Then ordered chicken, wasnt warm at all, asked them to change, there wasnt any noticable change even after they "re-heated" it. Totally disappointed to be honest. In their defense the day was rainy, but i dont find that as a reason. The rice was pretty good compared to the meat they provided.

The restaurant is near the highway and hence easily accessible. Also it have pretty good parking area. The food was very good. And I must admit that the price is just reasonable, not high.

Today(18th October 2023), I had the traditional chicken mandhi from this -Afghan Mandi-restaurant.
When I squeezed the mayonnaise bottle, I came upon mayonnaise with a house fly inside. We have communicated with the servant about it.
The receptionist (whom may be the owner/manager) did not express their guilt and was eager to collect the money (340 Rs) and blame the servants.
we are not willing to cause any trouble. I make an effort to cheer myself up.( If I had gotten a housefly from the food in my house, I would have picked it up and tossed it away.)
While I was on my way home, I was obsessively thinking about the black and filthy housefly that I discovered in mayonisse and vomited all of the food I had.

A normal ambience restaurant where you can find some tasty mandhis.Its not a very big or themed restaurant ,just a simple one near the kollam bypass.The food is very good as I am regular customer and the service they provide is much better. These days its a bit difficult for access because of the works going on. Try for peri peri alfahamor honey chilli alfaham.
The service, the taste
Enjoyed the meal. The dish we ordered was beef mandi. I think it's the best i have eaten from Kollam. Beef is good, good quantity, freshly cooked and the usage of spices are amazing. Rice is also good, the cooking was correct.
They serve a small cup of soup, salad is also good. The lime juice was also nice.
About the staff, their customer service is mentionable. The place is neat, and have parking facility for 8-10 cars.
They accepts all kind of payment options, ie digital ( card, UPI) and cash.
This bridge is the first one, When you coming from karunagapally side.... and it's the second smallest Bridge in kollambypass,
