Adyar Ananda Bhavan - A2B - Featured Reviews (4782)
One of the good restaurants located in Vidyaranyapura main road. It has all types of South Indian dishes and A2B brand sweets and masala powders. Food is really good to taste. All types of snacks are also available. The restaurant is always crowded with people needing to wait for getting seats. It has a self service and service hall. Overall the food is a good one to have
The server server rude and take their own time doing
Very noisy environment the noise is not by the public are the customers but by the employees themselves.
There are supervisors walking around in a grey jacket and grey pants these guys make the most noise inside the restaurant speaking loudly and having shouting matches with the other employees.
For the over priced coffee and the food day supply hear the taste does not match up to the price and also the noise and the ambience is really bad
Deewana choices do not go to visit this restaurant unless you are out of other options in area
Visited this place for a Sunday breakfast with friends. They have self service and an ac room dine service available here. I really liked their ghee roast and onion uthapam. They give 2 different chutneys for ghee roast and 3 different chutneys for onion uthapam. I personally did not like one of the chutneys and I don't even know what chutney it is. But my friend liked them all and many may too. The coffee was average. There is a bit of parking space for bikes and it would be difficult for cars as it's a busy main road. Would definitely visit for more breakfasts here in the future.
Worst service ever. Atmosphere is pathetic. In AC service area AC won't work and if you order something they will give you next day. This is not the first time. It is the 3rd time it's happening here. And if we want good South Indian food this is the only option. Manager is so cool that nothing will affect him... Better to close this branch A2B rather than spoiling your name.
Food is tasty, service & atmosphere is also good. Cleanness is also maintained well.
Little costly
No matter what some people in Bangalore say about Adyar Anand Bhawan, I don't think I'd be able to criticise them on taste of the food. I like Chennai style sambhar and chutney for a change and in that category A2B serves the requirement for me. My favourite item in Menu is Mini Tiffins. They need improvement in service, hence giving 4 out of 5.
I recently dined at A2B restaurant and ordered the North Indian thali. Unfortunately, I was disappointed with the quality of the food. The taste was not up to the mark, and it left much to be desired. It's not just the thali; it seems there's room for improvement in their entire menu. I hope they can enhance the taste and quality of their dishes to provide a better dining experience in the future."
The idli was very rough.. Coconut chutney and Red chutney was spoilt.. I have been hving issues with A2B orders.. but no one looked into it.. I ordered again still trusting A2B and expecting it to be good. But in vain.. will never order A2B again.. Earlier Poori was missing, next 2 times Saagu was missing. This time spoilt food .
A cafe by the road! In the evening you get pasta, maggi, sandwiches and juice. Such a budget friendly place. Has got small seating arrangements done. Great place to try out in the evening.
They got varieties of Maggie.
