Adyar Ananda Bhavan - A2B - Vegetarian restaurant in Chennai - Chennai, India

This place is easily accessible thru Metro Or otherwise. The parking space is ample, there's parking assistance too. Food is great as always. Service needs a lot of help. I don't know why the staff at any given A2B is so condescending and not aware of the customer service or comprehension is a million dollar question.

Quality and taste of the food were good and well prepared. Service can be improved better because the supply executives were sometimes not available and we need to wait for sometime. It has good parking facility.

Veggie favourite spot, don't miss the hot n sour soup. Nice dessert s, better to avoid on weekends evening, if you are not willing to wait for 40-50 mins

Terribly disappointed with the service. Though it was close to a full house , have never experienced such pathetic service thus far in any of the A2B branches . The thumbrule in any Restaurant is place water for each of the guests when the bearer comes to take the order . Despite reminding several staffers and after a cool 20 minutes did we get a Glass of water . Though there were several staff , they were literally clueless and we couldn't find a Supervisor or Manager to report . The orders were taken by different persons - but should admit that , the one person who attended to us later was an exception . We ordered Tomato Soup , Hot and Sour Soup - ok to start . Then Paneer tikka masala was good , though the pungent odour of vinegar was a deterrent - why should vinegar be added ?? Butter Naan , Butter Roti , Mixed Veg Curry were served hot and good . Baby Corn Manchurian was crispy and nice and so too were Paneer Pulao and Malai kofta . Hand was area was a neglected place , stewn with paper napkins and unclean wash basins . When you expect a good crowd , why don't you position a person to be there and clean at regular intervals ? A below par experience , not expected from A2B.

We ordered hot and sour soup, hariyali paneer tikka, baby corn pepper fry for starters. Main course, we had mix kadai veg and dal tadka fry along with garlic naan, butter roti and phulka Food was served on time but roti and naan were not that hot so we returned and got fresher ones.

I've been a patron of this restaurant since its opening day, but today marked my first experience with kal dosa and vadacurry. It was fantastic, and I thoroughly enjoyed it!

Very worst service. Had to wait endlessly for table. Food served late. soup was served cold and had to wait for spoon endlessly. The icing on cake was our ....Schezwan fried rice, it was served salty !! Totally a horrible experience.

Very poor service. Had to wait for long time to place the order when though the restaurant as not crowded. Didn't bother to come when we called the guy who served us. Spoilt coconut chutney server. After complaining, the guy went inside to confirm and yes, it is.... Don't see a point in going to A2B
