I wish I could give them zero stars. I had gone there a month back to sell a gold ring of mine and a pair of gold earrings too. I entered the shop and asked them if I could sell my things here and they just checked me from top to toe with disgusting eyes and then said in a rude manner that no they won't take it, they also added that selling gold for cash is not what they do and asked me to leave. So I left the shop. Now yesterday I called and asked them if I could sell my gold coins there and they told to go visit the shop. Today in the morning again as I entered the shop, they scrutinized me from head to toe. I told them that I had called them about selling my gold coins and that I've come to sell those and collect the cash. They said that "Na hobena", meaning no we won't do it. So I said that I had called them and then I came and in reply they said that "call korle ki hobe, hobene ekhane", meaning doesn't matter if you've called, we won't do it. And let me add, they were checking me out as if I was some beggar. Disgusting shop and DISGUSTING SERVICE.

Worst experience when it comes to selling or buying gold or jewelry. These people have no respect for customer or any work ethics. My suggestion find another shop to do your business as gariahat and Kolkata is filled with jewelry shops. Example lokenath jewelers which is opposite the road to these scammers. And just look at their response they don't even care about the customers experience only about there precious fake and bought reviews. Pathetic.

I went there to sell my gold ring which was hall marked but I didn't have a bill, they said that without the bill they won't take it since it's hall marked. Their behavior was very rude too. Later after coming back home I messaged them asking if they take hall marked gold without bill and they messaged me back saying that they do. Very disappointing service they provide.

I think that many people who wrote about this store are right that they don't behave well with customers.

Overall nice experience at Adyama jewelers. They have nice collections with latest designs. Staff behavior was also nice. Highly recommend place.. value for money..

They do good and soft spoken behavior to their customers but they give lowest price, i was very old Customer but last time they calculate the lowest price. Where i got 4K more on each gram, very bad experience They are thieves before they give best rates Dont visit

If you thought you get actual ret of gold than you are total full. In my recent experience they offered me of 31 gm 21k gold only 91k, where that same gold we get 1.35 lakhs from another very well known gold shop. Only weighs and gold quality scanning is authentic but after that what they calculate is totaly fraud.
