I was visiting Shimla with my wife in Oct 23. My travel agent in Delhi had arranged Nitin Rana to be our guide for the day on 20-10-23. Nitin promptly arrived to pick us up from our hotel. Took us around Shimla (Kufri Zoo, Indian Institute of Advanced studies, a walk-in the wild , Shimla town and some fabulous scenic points) Nitin's knowledge of Shimla and it's importance to the Indian history was amazing. His English and the way he explained the events was very very good. He was always patient and very polite. The visit to Institute of Advanced Studies was very poignant for us as this is where Nehru/Gandhi/M Jinnah/Sardar Patel and other prominent politicians discussed the independence of India with last viceroy Mountbatten. I can't thank Nitin enough as he managed to get the entry tickets for us for this place since we were leaving Shimla next day. I would happily recommend Nitin to anyone who visits Shimla. The wealth of knowledge Nitin has will make your visit more rewarding as it did ours.
Had excellent Shimla tour with Ricky, also known as Nittin. Ricky took great care of us. We booked accommodation ourselves and it didn't work out but Ricky came to our rescue and sorted us out with great accommodation. He explained everything and history of places where we visited. Responsive to our wishes at all times. Helped us get tickets for trains and boarding trains and helped us changing itinery to include more time in Amritsar. Highly recommended. Will certainly use again if and when I return to this region. Thank you for your unwavering care and concern.
Recently connected with Adventure People India. It was a last minute booking and got the best deal, thanks to Adventure People India. We got a great hotel deal, car arrangement, good and experienced drivers, reasonably priced. They introduced us to Kufri Pacific Resort, and it was amazing. All in all, we will be engaging their services again, during the winters to enjoy the snow clad Himachal!!! This is 3rd tour me and my group of 6 people doing Char Dham tour with Adventure People India. Before this we had two tours in Himachal Pradesh. Planning, coordination, on tour assistance, choice of accommodation, choice of places to visit, quality of cars, drivers everything is perfect. They courteously accept few last minute changes from clients. we still cherish the memories of our tours with Adventure People. Cost wise, Adventure People is very much affordable with no compromise on quality and are 40-50% lower than tour operators with big name in the market.
Had a great trip to Lahaul and Spiti in Vikendar Kumar's car. He is a wonderful person with immaculate etiquette and behavior. He is extremely experienced and caring and possesses great driving skills and a personal touch in everything. His car is in top notch condition and well maintained. No words of praise are enough for him. Recommend everyone who wants to enjoy traveling with peace of mind to travel with him for a hassle free experience.
