Adil Shah Palace Gateway - Tourist attraction in Mandrem, Velha Goa - North Goa, India

The only remains of the palace is this gate. It is located on the left side when you enter the premises of the St. Catejan Church.

The gate of the place of Adil Shah is located near to the Mandovi river. It will take only 10 minutes to see the view.

Located near the entry of St. Catejan Church this wall is believed to be the gates of the The Palace of Adil Shah (it is also the remaining part from the palace). However, as per the guide we hired she believed its most likely a temple gate as it had hindu god encryptions on it.

Amazing place. The architecture inside church is amazing. There is a museum inside. The ticket costs 20 rs. You can see lots of restored old paintings of Jesus here. Amazingly maintained place. Talking about gateway, only part of it is remaining.

Awesome place with good monuments and structures can spend a good quality time peaceful with family. Visit and enjoy.

It's not a tourist place. It's for transporting the vehicles and people to the other side. Cars were waiting in queue when we visited.

Best place in town. Perfect ambience, lovely food, Well mannered staff and beeeeeeeeeeeeeest Location! Must visit time and again.
