Andani Power Limited, Mundra is a 4200MW based thermal power station. Raw lignite rich with phosphate having low ignition temperature is importing from Australia, Indonesia. Thermal power plant is well organized. Staff is very supportive. Canteen is neat and clean. Available good quality food. To reach this thermal station one have to hire private auto otherwise difficult to reach at site. Adani bus are also going to plant at morning from 6:00am to 8:00am last bus. One can stay in adani guest house also if official permit. Quality of food is best.

It is the world's 11th-largest single location coal-based thermal power plant as well as India's second largest operational power plant after NTPC Vindhyanchal The plant has nine power generating units, unit# 5 to 9 involves super-critical boiler technology Source of water for the power plant is sea water from the Gulf of Kutch.

Great place to work. Highly maintained, at least the efforts are visible. Marred by the saline environment due to coastal touch. Corrosion is a big mouth eating away the the core structure of the world class plant. Many people come and visit this one of the largest coal based power plant of India. Currently struggling going through poor policies of government on maintenance of asssets developped under previous government.
