This place is a heritage site which is at all not visible from the roadside The place is well maintained. But avoid going on public holidays and weekends as it is packed with people. Well maintained step well. The water is crystal blue and very beautiful. The place is very cool as compared to outside temperatures. You can easily spend 2-3 hours, admiring the beauty (if there is not much of a crowd) The tickets price is 25rs for adults Cheers!
Beautiful and awe-inspiring architecture.. Which gives you the perfect ancient touch.. the water which wont get drained in the well as all flows leads to the well in that structure.

This is a historical place with quite environment and with a park too. The Stepwell is designed like if you go more down the well once can feel the temperature is lower than the outside temperature. The structure and architecture is really amazing, incredible and breathtaking landmark.
You must definitely put this place in your list if you're visiting Ahmedabad. The architecture is amazing from centuries ago. You will definitely gonna feel like time travelling when you climb down the stairs. It's worth your time to look what this historical place offers. You will definitely enjoy the symmetrical structure here.
This is such a unique historical place to visit. This stepwell is in great condition, renovated and well maintained. If you come by car, then parking is available. The entrance fee is just nominal price. From the road this stepwell is not visible but when you actually approach it you understand the grand level of this 500+ years old five storied deep historical place. Behind the construction of this stepwell is a really sad story that you should read before visiting.
Beautiful step well with amazing architecture. The concept of step well and why it was constructed is great. The maintenance is not upto the mark, there is always weird smell due to stagnant water . There is parking facilities, restroom facilities as well.
Good old architecture place. Must visit to see the carvings and the beautiful history of India. There are a lot of crowd shooting reels and photoshoots so it might be a little frustrating for people who genuinely want to see the site.
