Acron Waterfront Resort - Resort hotel in Baga - North Goa, India

We Stayed in one of their Villas. All the rooms are of different sizes and one of them is quite small to accommodate language. Bathrooms are wet most of time as there is no proper drainage. Rooms service is not good as well other amenities. In my opinion it's not worth and value for money that we paid. It's 1.5 km from Baga beach.For lunch and dinner don't good options nearby.

One of the best location with a beautiful view that you can get in Goa near Baga river. We went there with 3 families along with kids. The hotel rooms are of decent size, well equipped and clean. They have a large size infinity pool looking over the Baga river. There is a big jacuzzi in the garden area for you and to relax and rejuvenate. In room dining as well as restaurant service is great! Food quality and taste is really nice. This is walking distance from Baga beach(~800-1000 Mtrs).

We booked this hotel, paid premium for being near to beach but it is water front/ river front and not beach front. Breakfast was 7/10. Rooms were good but lots of boats and everything in front of rooms, instead of the beach that we want. Their sales executive Shivanand told us that he sent lower prices by mistake and compelled us to book hotel the same day or prices will increase. This was a complete marketing stunt and nothing else. He offered additional discount to my friend the next day. We felt cheated even after paying more than 1 lac for this resort.

It's river side resort, almost near to Baga beach.. Good place with good ambience.. Connectivity is good with all tourist destinations

Overall very nice experience. Staff is very cooperating & supportive, especially Mr Manoj from Security & Mr Pitbas Nayak from House Keeping. Food is also delicious with high quality standards. Little bit of renovation is required in the property part.

Resort front office staff is highly unprofessional, misbehaved and money minded beyond clients comfort. I was there with friends this October 2023, they spoiled our day 1, didn't alloted the room when arrived even after paying 50% advance, changed the penthouse villa rooms without prior discussion and approval. Highly unprofessional behaviour and non cooperative attitude of the staff. Beware of Mr. Joel D'Souza, sales manager as he is highly unprofessional and misbehaved with us when arrived at their resort.

I'm writing this review in specific account of extremely unprofessional and rude behaviour of Mr Joel D'Souza who is the sales manager of Acron resorts Goa. I planned my trip with them in 2019 with my friends and it was a memorable experience. So when I was aging planning my trip with 7 of my batchmates with whom I was meeting after 15 yrs, I immediately recommended them Acron waterfront resort at Baga beach. The trip was planned 3 months in advance and 50% of the payment was done for 4 rooms. So 1 was a penthouse with 3 rooms and they offered us another room on the same area (3+1 rooms for the 8 of us). 10 days prior our arrival I told Joel cancel for the 4th room as 2 friends will not be able to join. He said cancellation is not possible and you have to pay full amount. I said ok at least give us some other services like spa or dinner as this is the least which you should do for old clients. He said he will discuss and inform. No call from his side so that's okay we friend decided we will share the amount. On day of arrival which was 30th sept 2023, 2 of my friends reached in the morning. So this person Joel said I cannot give access to the room as you need to do full payment. My friend called me as I had just landed at 2pm to Goa from delhi. I called joel to at least give the access and we'll pay by evening when all friends will reach. Just imagine us paying 3 months in advance the amount of 56000/- and still waiting since morning to get access to the room. Joel did not agree and my friends kept on waiting. Just imagine haveing a 9 hour journey in bus to reach the hotel, my friend has not even brushed and was made to wait. Now comes the even worst part. When me and my other friend reached by 3:30pm, I asked for Joel at their front office. This person turned up and barged on me saying that ma'am we are giving you 4 rooms, in 2 different apartments and 2 rooms will be in each apartment. I said Joel my booking says I have a penthouse with 3 rooms as we are 6 people and why will we stay seperatley???? He had this audacity to be rude to me as my friends in front of the office, kept on arguing and spoiled all our mood. Imagine paying in advance and not even made comfortable on reaching their promises. Is the the service industry they work in?? Where they don't know how to treat a customer??? Shame on their service. Joel never turned up after that was only available for 2 mins and then we were made to deal with 2 front office ladies till 8 pm at night. Just imagine our plight. It was an emotional harassment for all of us. In the end we came to know the form our booking of the penthouse with 3 rooms they already had given 1 room to another guest and had taken money from him. And now they wanted to take out more money from us by not refunding out 4th room which anyways we were not using. We called the police also as it was getting too much on us. Finally we were made to adjust by giving the penthouse with 2 remaining rooms and we two were made to use one different room in another area. Spoiling our 1 day I will never recommend Acron waterfront. We feel so disappointed in their service of making money out of honest customers. I just hope the Acron top management should take a separate action with Joel so that never ever another customer should feel the same.

This resort is near to Baga beach, (around 600 m.). There was slight delay in room cleaning process during check-in process. Also, Price seems slightly on higher side considering the location.
