ACORA RESIDENCY - Hotel in Silchar - Cachar, India

I was travelling for work and looking for hotels when we spotted this one. It's in a nice location with food corners everywhere. The hotel has complimentary breakfast which was also a positive point. The floor, bed sheet and blanket of the room I was staying in had stains, but I was okay with it, because I hav stayed in worse. However, as I was about to sleep at night, I saw a cockroach crawling across the curtains. That creeped me out and I immediately asked for a change in room. They got me a room but I had to spend the night in fear of finding another cockroach. But my colleagues did not have any such issues. Rooms need to be cleaner. Otherwise they have provided us with almost all amenities.

Room was quite small, but it was clean and nicely managed the space. Bed and linens were good. Toilets were clean. Electric cattle and glasses were also there, but they were not in good condition. As per the prices, the hotel room was good.

Pros: Location is Good, within reach of everything you ever need Room are comfy but needs more maintenance Available staffs are polite Cons: Wifi is not available Fooding is not upto the mark, infact resturant is currently not operational. Lack of adequate service staffs.

Apart from location everything else is worst. The 8/10 ft reception is always empty, there is no intercom, for any requirements u will have to go two floors down to reception. Zero professionalism, dirty rooms, suffocating as AC does not work most of the time, these is only one person who does almost all the work. Much better options available around the location. Never ever recommended.

Worst restaurant ever! There is no management whatsoever, the waiters are dumb, can't take instructions and have no skills nor way of presentation. The food is over priced with respect to their behaviour in the kitchen. No professional courtesy is offered by the individual. I recommend everyone to kindly not dine in here! A humble request from my side.

Had stayed here 2 times in a span of a week. Over all experience is average. They have very limited option for food. We had to check out a bit early in the morning by 7:00 AM, and they had lift switched off ( They claim its their practice and it comes on later int he day)

Room condition is good enough. And foods are delicious too. Moreover they are friendly.

Great ambience and staff were very generous to serve during my stay. Also complimentary breakfast was amazing.
