Not recommended by using as a ferry ghat, too muddy. May be it is closed nowadays. But if you want to visit riverside area and it is near your area, then you can visit. The way to reach there is good.

Service is very good, but this side of ferry service needs a good floating ferry ghat badly. People have to take off/pull up their shoes, full pants or lower garments ,otherwise it will get into touch with mud and river water. Its not a comfortable boat ride.
Landscape is nice but reaching boat may be a bad experience because of mud at the time of low tide. You have to carry shoes or chappals otherwise these will stick to mud. Frequency of boat is o.k. Fare is low. Many tea and foodstall is present there. View of river is beautiful but there must be proper steps or jetty for passengers.
Perfect spot to spend the sunset . Ferry service is ok but the jetty is not. No proper jetty constructed here so you have to board the ferry from the river bank . And it's full of muddy clay and stones . You can also cross the river with your bike at uluberia but it's risky if you have a heavyweight motorcycle like Royal Enfield. So be safe.
