Unprofessional and chaotic. One who came to take the order struggled a lot to understand the order, but thankfully, a malayali in the bunch came to our rescue. Half of the items are not on the menu. We ordered two meals, Biriyani and two plain rice for the children, we were given three meals, Biriyani and one plain rice. Some items were not served either. We had to hail their attention multiple times to get the food. When we pointed out that the service was not up to the mark/some things were not served, they said they were busy. We also ordered prawn roast, chicken roast, and fish fry. What was served was good, I'll give them that.
Looking at the ratings we just hopped in for a quick lunch. The service is super slow, they took 10mins to come and take the order only 2 tables had guests still the service was slow. Coming to the food. Food is very avg, we ordered meals, chicken biryani and some variety fish fry. Everything was average, fish fry was worst. It was deep fry and had no taste.
First off, their servers are just the sweetest. But. The quality of the food has gone done incredibly. Cold food, sambar was tasteless, fish fry was average. I really feel like they can do better.
Food seems fine, tried beef fry+ porotta and biriyani as parcel. Same as Ordinary kerala style food that we get in "Bengaluru". The hall used to sit was dirty (feels like haven't used water to clean floor for years). But that's adjustable as long as you won't look at it . Overall try once kind of place.
Worst experience in my life even on the occassion of Onam, they must change their name to 'cheating hotel', They inform teliphonically less rate for food and after having food they increase the amount thats y this is the cheating hotel of Bangalore, My onam ruined because of their worst sadhya and huge amount for that, They used to cheat many people on this onam. Never go to this hotel my request.
I recently had the pleasure of visiting Acchayan's, a small Mallu mess in the 6th Main area. The Sunday crowd at the Full Gospel Assemblies of God Church forms the major lunch audience, but this place is popular with budget eaters all week long. The fish fry and fish curry were legendary, and I highly recommend the Squid (INR 120), Prawn (INR 200), You must also try the Kerala Parotta (INR 15 each) to accompany your meal. The food was delicious and affordable, and the atmosphere was friendly and inviting. I will definitely be returning to Acchayan's soon!
The ever most bad experience in Bangalore by wasting money and time. That's a total summary sentence. There was only two serving guys in the restaurant when I reached there. I was the only customer in the restaurant at 2.15pm. Even though they took a 20 minutes to serve that cold rice. The another one, who is little aged made the beef fry before that. It was little tasty and I liked that honestly. The service was unhygienic and there was no facility for washing hands. After some time they brought water in a vessel and kept beside to the wash basin. I had meals from there. The food was very cold even at the time of lunch like they made it at early morning and kept open. They side dishes were average. The most bad thing was they don't give drinking water until we ask. I asked him for the same, and they replied that they don't give it till we ask. You should ask if you want. I didn't understand that logic. But I came back by paying for which I ate from there. So I recommend you people to go for a better place if want to eat and enjoy your food. Whether you are alone or with someone. If it is only my experience, try your luck.
This small little establishment is a gem in the city. Authentic home style kerala cuisine. Had the veg meal and gosh it was so good! The Avial stole the show for me

One of the best places for malabar cuisine in bangalore. Operating in a bungalow, this place doesn't look like your regular restaurant from outside. The ambiance is very simple and traditional. The food is amazing, we tried a couple of dishes prawns
Food is really nice. All items are having authentic Kerala style taste. Very good and cordial staff. Must try are Chatti chor, coconut milk shake, Nool porotta. Space is less and getting a parking is tight. Better take an Uber or Ola to reach there.
You get authentic Kerala dishes. Lot of varieties in fish. Descent ambience and well behaved staff. Meals are provided in buffet style with reasonable price.
I have visited here twice. The place is very pocket friendly and authentic food. I always order the veg meal along with some non veg curry on the side. I love their chicken curry and fish fry. The fish curry was decent not to my liking. For veg meal,
