A tranquil and beautiful place. A very dense forest with a lot of animals like Bison ,spotted deer, peacocks ,leopard and tiger. The tiger is rarely seen. It remains closed on tuesday. There are many resort , but book them before hand, or the private ones have unreasonably high cost. The food is delicious in the reserve's canteen and also in the nearby hotels.
Extra ordinary place. Simple suparb. But road is very bad.
Awesome views, nice and clean water source, also amazing water falls.
This road is now closed to go amarkantak.. Don't take this Shivtarai Road.. U can use Belgahana Road to go to AMARKANTAK.
Such a dense forest it is.. so peaceful so amazing this palace is .. didn't go for safari .. but went for long drive.. saw monkeys in over way.. so much greenery.. if u like forest nature can prefer going to such places which is situated in Bilaspur Chhattisgarh..

Place is good and but the wildlife was rarely sighted in safari visit.
This place is worth going if you want a quick break or a short vacation. Especially the resort was quite good and while staying there you cal also hear hyenas howling!!! And safari is of 2 to 3 hrs scheduled at early morning and at evening. With all of that it's a beautiful place!
