Abuzz Lal Baug - Youth Hostel in Mumbai - Mumbai, India

Been at this hostel for 3 months. It is UNHYGIENIC to say the least. When you first decide to stay here, you are promised a lot of things But, these guys increased their rent by 1k and despite that, washing machine hasn't been repaired in over 15 days. They just keep shooing you off if you complain. My clothes haven't been washed in days together and their isn't even a place to wash them And there is a fine if you hang clothes over your bed Why promise amenities if you can never deliver?!? There are much better places. I would suggest you look for those instead

I was concerned about security during my stay. While there were lockers available, they were small and not very secure. I didn't feel confident leaving my valuable items there, which added to my stress during my trip.

I stayed at this location for one year. In that tenure I lost around many clothes given for a laundry. While leaving the hostel on 3rd September 2023 I came to know that my bags are missing. Upon asking for the same, the Abuzz staff acted like the are finding it and started looking for the same. I asked for CCTV footage also but they are unable to produce the same as the CCTV is not working. I also learned that this is not the first case of missing things. One girl lost her laptop, one gentleman lost his gold chain. BEWARE if you are planning to go to this place. The place is not at all hygienic, they have only 3 toilets for the entire boy's dorm, 1 active basin, Bathrooms with no soap holders and 24X7 running water from the broken pipeline. I keep on asking for repair and got only one answer that they are looking for a plumber, in short they looked for a plumber for almost one year. Finally, when I decided to move out, I find that my bags are missing. They do not have security neither they have cameras, so if you are shifting here, you are at your own. Your security is your concern. Do not carry any valuables. Over all, this place is pathetic and strongly not recommended.

The hostel advertised certain amenities that were either missing or in poor condition. The Wi-Fi was slow and often unreliable, and the kitchen facilities were cramped and poorly maintained. Security is major concern as they do not have any CCTV at the premises. The one have is only a show piece on the wall, it doesn't work.

Poor hygiene dirty bedsheet and pillow very bad place to stay uncooperative staff they don't response well or solve any problem didn't refund my money.staff and owner is very rude genuine advice find other place to stay but never stay at abuzz hostel worst experience ever in my life .

One Of person From Abuzz that's Rubey, She's Very Rude behavior with customer, we Asked her For One month booking, they said to wait For rooms after some time talking Rudly... I Request to all Prefer Other options to stay in Mumbai... there is lots of options... and Lots of places who's Respect the customer... one of Worst Service in Abuze... abuz Lal bag ,kala Chouki...

Service is getting worse day by day. Reception staff is rude and doesn't solve any issues instead they look for ways to get back to you especially Zara and Ruby. Washrooms are not clean and sanitary. Night staff is not well trained. They don't change your bedding regularly. At one point there was problem of water supply in washrooms. It's not worth it to stay for even this price.

The hostel is not that good but also not bad. People here who stays are very friendly. Both Central and harbour railway line is near by apx 1km. Near by places are also good you wont find difficulty to eat that too in cheap price. My overall experience here is good.
