Strategically located nearby Moogambika temple. It's a quick 5 mins walk and decent restaurants are nearby. Kollur doesn't have lot of good stay options unfortunately and so among the current lot, this place can definitely be considered! The rooms are decent when compared to other available options. It's spacious with view of souparnika river banks. Would recommend this place if visiting the temple is the main goal!
Stayed at the hotel on 17th Aug 2023.Below are my experience.
Stayed in Delux AC Room with 2 Queen Size Bed.
Pros : 10 Minutes walk to temple.
Cost : Not worth paying 2500/- per night. Not 3 * hotel as described.
Not clean, Smelly Rooms, Dirty Bathroom.
No basic things were available in the room and in the washroom like kettle, tea bags, water bottle, bathroom necessary items were not available.
When asked, they provided water bottles and washroom basic things.
So my advice is it you are paying this amount, s try other alternatives.
And I was asked to pay full amount while check-in itself.
However they were polite with us.
Took a Delux room for 4 and was allotted room with 2 queen bed. Room was good with air conditioner, one sofa and a small table. Water bottles are also provided. All good. There is some need for improvement in maintaining toilets and I feel the toilet should be pre arranged with toiletries like soap, shampoo etc and not after the occupation of guests. Food and tea will be arranged on order basis and it is homely food. Mr Raja in-charge of the lunch home was preparing good food. Full ratings go to him. One of my suggestion is that they should have provided hot water kettle with some tea bags and sugar in the rooms. Temple is 500 mts away. They also arrange taxi to railway station (Mookambika Road) on a reasonable rate of 900 for non-ac and Rs 1100 for AC cars. That too sedan like dZire or etios and not Maruti Omni or EECO Overall good.
We booked the hotel based on the photos uploaded on their website. However it was absolute disappointment in all aspects.
Few major issues are as below:-
A) Rooms was dirty & linens were old & probably not changed.
B) HOT water was barely hot. When asked why water was cold they kept saying the water comes from top level 5 & we may have to use 5 to 6 bucket of water before getting hot water. Sadly no fix to this issue was addressed & offered no alternate option.
C) We booked 2 rooms with 3 people in each room, however no toiletries were provided & when we asked for toiletries only 2 were provided.
D) Aircon wasn't working & television was not available.
Recommend to look around & check reviews before booking your hotel!
I had a wonderful experience for a days. We never felt that we are away from home as the hospitality was impressive.
We took 2 rooms, the rooms were clean and neat and we were provided with all best facilities.
I will give 9 out of 10 for this hotel and will truly recommend this to everybody.
Quite affordable compared to other stays. Would give 5/10. It is 500m (aprx 10 mins walk) from the temple. Rooms are not maintained well. Food is home made and therefore you have to inform them early if you need breakfast or lunch or dinner.
Don't expect professional service.
Walkable distance from Sree Mookambika Temple. Neat and clean rooms and good hospitality. There is a stream on the back of the property.
Spacious rooms with clean beds and rest rooms and property owner is very kind and I am recommending this Lodge to everyone

A place that every nature lover will enjoy. Away from the main road on the banks of the Souparnika river makes it a wonderful location. Decent food, courteous staff and the experience of being in the forest. Not a typical resort kind of setup. No tv
We did not enjoy our lunch experience at Daivik. The food was average as was the service. Anything you ask will be charged extra. Would not recommend visiting.
