Abid's - Middle Eastern restaurant in Chennai - Chennai, India

My family Visited last week. Not me (As I'm out of India). Love this place ! The food is all so discovering hidden culinary treasures in the heart of Greater Chennai. Food was superb. Blended mutton and lentils, served with crispy fried onions and lemon.(Mutton Haleem). Service was both attentive and informative. I can recommend anyone to visit this place for food.

My friends and me were seated in First Floor. We had a list of foods and their feedback are Haleem: Excellent (that soft mutton with dry fruits) best Haleem i had ever! BBQ chicken: With the sauces, the chicken was succulent and juicy, wonderful one Metre Kebab: Par excellency. The softest kebeb i had in my life( beats mother of all kebabs: duster khan in Lucknow) Chicken Ghee roast: even though I don't like ghee ones because of sweet taste, it was very nice with that spicy gravy. Super! Pathar ka Ghosh: It was of different taste. Not impressed for the hype. Mutton Hyderabadi Briyani: Rice full of flavours. Mutton was very soft. Very nice Caramel Custard: Superb!!! Highly recommended! One word: Awesome

Recently visited abids for a sudden dinner and we need to wait for almost 40minutes for a table of 8. Ambience - its an average place in chetpet not so good in ambience Service - It was good but i felt it was slow for taking up the orders and deliver it. Food - they have plenty of variety but price id too high for some of the dishes which costs almost 690 per plate. Taste was good nothing negative about it but price is too high.

Haleem is their first face. Food we tasted almost everything it's very good. They have almost all the varites it's a huge menu. Staffs are very helpful and service is nice. Mutton Biryani, Haleem is my favourite. Parking it's open space. They have a takeaway counter in the front.

Recently visited the Abids Restaurant situated in Egmore, the restaurant was recently renovated and they are still working on a few interior decors. We ordered a variety of dishes from their menu, which offers a range of cuisines such as Arabian, Hyderabadi, North Indian, Seafood, Oriental, and Desserts. The food was delightful and well-prepared, with generous portions and authentic flavours. Some of the dishes that we enjoyed were the Hyderabadi Mutton Biryani, the Barbeque Chicken, the lamb Seekh and Pathar Ka Gosht, the prices were reasonable for the quality and quantity of food that they offer. Would highly recommend it if you are dining with a large group. Certainly one of the best meat frenzy places to visit. One critic that I want to point out, the staff were constantly trying to clear the tables off before all the folks finished dining.

Abid's turning out to be a good to go restaurant in Chennai!!! Quality of food was great if they continue this they will definitely be an iconic spot in the near future!!! Give it a Chance you will not regret Favorite dish ofcourse Haleem must try :)

If you're in Chennai and are looking for Hyderabadi Cuisine, just go to Abid's Restaurant. I would say it's the best Hyderabadi Restaurant in Chennai. Things to try, Haleem Mutton Biryani I would say go for any starters its best. Also do not miss Qurbani with cream in desserts.

Best haleem in the city. Food was really good .The place must be re arranged, native workers must be involved for better service. Wash Area should be made better.
