Nice rastaurant known for authentic south indian dishes. Good food with reasonable price. Very Good Hygiene and cleanliness. After renovation ambience of rastaurant is Improved , It's looks good. Prime Location. Parking space is limited. Sometimes It's difficult to get space for packing.
I have been a frequent user of this restaurant for more than two decades. Excellent quality and service with a smile are the USPs of this restaurant. When we want to eat out but not too much oily or spicy, we prefer this family restaurant. Pubjabi, Chinese, South Indian, everything is available at reasonable prices.
Very good food and service. Pleasant ambience. Just one thing can be improved - the washroom was closed and when asked to use it there was quite a delay in giving the key and making it available . It would be great if this issue can be taken care of .
Quality of punjabi food needs to be improved a lot. Ready made and frozen items were used in main course and rice. Not good.
Tucked in a corner of ghod dod. A place for authentic south Indian and delicious Punjabi food. The Chinese food is prepared without msg and still tastes great. Services are fast and efficient. The personnel are well versed with the menu and are hospitable. One of the oldest restaurant in Surat city. The interiors are recently done. The ambiance is beautiful and simple. Great planning was done to make it ECO friendly. Great tasting food with clean and hygienic conditions. You won't have stomach upsets. Wonderful place to eat.
I tag this restaurant as a heritage food joint of Surat, ask any person living in Surat since 2-3 decades, it was the time when Ghod Daud Road was farthest area of Surat, beyond Ghod Daud Road was forest at that time and "Abhishek Restaurant" stands from that era, perhaps first authentic South Indian Restaurant by a South Indian in Surat. It is run by a family from UDUPI in my best guess. The ambiance is very simple, minimalist & soothing for those who like serenity. By minimalistic I mean literally minimalistic. Food they serve is average, South indian dishes are good, rest are average, they cut cost at many levels which is visible in not offering pickles, not offering mukhwas post food etc. But full star for surviving and serving for that long period, do visit the place once in a while and help survive Surat's oldest restaurant.

They don't respect senior citizens and behaviour of floor staff with senior citizens all 80+ is pathetic and non cooperative. Finally they have to leave the place. I highly disappointed and discourage people not to go and eat in such type of restaurant. They even don't allowed them to cut a cake also. Food and Atmosphere is secondary.
