Omkareshwar is one of the twelve Jyotirling. It's must visit place near Indore and traveler can visit other famous Jyotirling and reverred historicalcity Ujjain. While visiting Omkareshwar it's must to take a holy dip in Narmada ji. Best place to take bath is Nagar ghat. It's very safe and clean ghat developed by reverred sain of Malwa Shri Shri Nagarji. This is safest ghat and one should take a boat ride after holy bath to Jyotirling. Boat ride is really enjoyable as it passes through very picturesque route. It's divine experience no one visiting this place should miss it. One of the twelve jyotilng situated on the banks of Holly & only virgin famous river NARMADA.It is 80 km from INDORE and well connected by road. The pilgrim take holy bath in the river, thereafter visit the temple through 100 stairs.The old mamleshwar jyotilng temple is500 meters away on different route before banks of river.only DHARAMSHALAS are available for stay at onkareshwar.resently MP TOURISM tourist bungalow is also available online booking.The place is surrounded by nature & is a treat to visit the place where average vegetarian meals available. Good place to visit. one of the 12 jyotirlingas. From parking would recommend to go walking to the temple as the other option is going from boat. They might charge u as per their wish and post that there re steps you need to climb which is more tiring. instead the walk is hardly 10 mins. pandits here are all round the place to do Abhishek. But no Abhishek is allowed nor flowers are allowed in the main temple. They do it near smaller temples in the premises.
Omkareshwar mahotsav was fantastic and all credit goes to district administration for making this a grande success. The venue Abhay ghat was spacious and very scenic on the Bank of river narmada.

beautiful digambar jain temple, located in a serene and calm location, on the banks of narmada river. you can reach by taking a left before barwaha on the khandwa road. Google Maps mislead the route via omkareshwar, as that road near the omkareshwar
This place is around 7 kms from Omkareshwar. Nicely built rooms, Super spacious and clean. This hotel has an in-house restaurant which is more famous than rooms. Plenty of food items available and the food is good in taste. I would advice this place
Dormitory gents wash room condition is not credited. Not proper cleaning, stoppers were not proper for bathroom. Wash area is so bad urine smale. Other is good.

Its high and beautiful near omkareshwar temple in khandwa district. We travelled there by bus from ujjain. There are lot of busses from ujjain but make sure that the bus drops you at omkareshwar. You can find a bus from ujjain in morning direct to om

This is the place where you get food for rupees 30 per person. You get unlimited refill of food by just paying rupees 30. To talk about the food, it was very nice but bit spicy. Mostly in Madhya Pradesh, you will find food with a little extra spice.
