A nice view point on the way to Madikeri from Sullia. Not to be confused with Abbi Falls, which is located interior of Madikeri. The waterfall is about 30ft high and serves as a cooldown point for travellers during summer. You cannot enter the falls as there are barriers kept to prevent mishaps. Nearby stalls are present for snacks and beverages. Overall a beautiful place to see and stop by. Take caution during the rainy season as the place might get flooded.
We were on our group trip and going back to Mangalore and from nowhere. We just got to see this water Falls stop there for a while and had a nice view on the opposite side with a good Hills around. The waterfalls are really good when compared to other small falls on our way back and we all can also see some of the stalls with the food and other requirements which are basically necessary while travelling in car. Exactly to the opposite side of this falls, you can see a nice scenery with hills and a proper Coorg. Themed scenery is everywhere. If you are on a court trip and you are travelling from Mangalore or any Southern Western city's, I would definitely prefer to visit this on your way. This is on the highway 275 by the way.
Beautiful waterfall which can be viewed just next to the main road, on your way to Madikeri. Good place to stop and rest for some time. There are many food shops nearby. Great place to stop for tea.
One should definitely stop here if proceeding by private vehicle from Madikeri towards Mangaluru during or immediately after rainy season for leisurely watching the waterfall, click a few pics of the surroundings too and enjoy some hot drink and snacks from the roadside stalls.
"The tree which moves some to tears of joy is in the eyes of others only a green thing which stands in the way. Some see nature all ridicule and deformity, and by these I shall not regulate my propositions. And some see no nature at all. But to the eyes of the man of imagination, nature is imagination itself." "Rest is not idleness, and to lie sometimes on the grass under trees on a summer's day, listening to the murmur of the water, or watching the clouds float across the sky, is by no means a waste of time.
This place is on the road side which you get while travelling on the highway road to coorg. Its a really good relaxation spot and a best spot to take a small break after travelling for a few hours. There are no washrooms available here. The view here is amazing and the tea you get here is splendid.
An unplanned visit would be memorable..

During our stay at Taj Madikeri, we visited this restaurant. This was not operating separately. In Ferntree restaurant they are serving the both menu. We ordered Nellaki menu for the dinner.
