Abad Turtle Beach | Beach Resort Marari Alleppey - Resort hotel in Mararikulam - Alappuzha, India

It was a second visit to the Abad turtle beach resort after about 4 years; the place maintained everything we loved during the first visit, and even better. The resort taps into a lot of the natural landscape of the place, and that really lets you know the place, and be part of it. This is a place where we have enjoyed the sea in all its rawness. The beautiful beach stretch that's accessible from the resort is neat, not crowded; in fact the only companions we had for some time were the crows who were probably fishing for molluscs for a snack. You might see fishing boats during an early visit to the sea, again letting us be a part of the place and the people who live there. The rooms, and the lil backyards were extremely cozy and the restaurant keeps you really happy. The staff is very helpful, and made us really comfortable. The butterfly park was such a tender experience for the kids. You can walk around in the resort and pick your place of interest, there are many such 'little joys' around. We had a wonderful time at the resort and when we left, we mentioned that we will be visiting again, and we really meant it.

We had a couple of days' family getaway at Abad Turtle Beach, Marari in July 2023. We were a fairly large group of 20 including adults and kids. The location is great with direct beach access. There is a 2-5 minutes walk to the beach depending on where your cottage is. The rooms could be improved, though comfortable. The one main thing we were all unanimous about was their service, which was exceptional. Right from the reception / restaurant staff to the bell boys, were all extremely courteous and friendly. Some of the best behaved staff we have seen in any resorts. We felt super comfortable with them. They organized our big group to have a separate dining space outside the restaurant and for our privacy. The food was pretty good. Gala time at Abad Turtle Beach. Would gladly return.

Beautiful resort surrounded by nature and the sea, with very kind staff members and nice food. My husband and I enjoyed the swimming pool overlooking a super green pond and I had fun in the powerful ocean waves. Also, the sunset over the sea was so romantic and breathtaking... We recommend everyone this place!

Private beach access with lifeguard support. Excellent food. Staff service was superb. Villas are built in the middle of a forest. Commute through battery car. Clean swimming pool. Overall we had a memorable stay. Travelled as a family with kids and friends from Germany in the 1st week of August.

Nice place to spend with family and friends. Have a decent pool, very calm and peaceful atmosphere, good rooms and good service. Have access to beach. Have activities like badminton, kids park, butterfly garden and all. Have some cottages with private pools also. One cottage is for 2 family with two rooms nearby and each cottages are seperated with decent space. Overall a very nice place to spend a weekend and the beach is awesome.

I would definitely recommend this resort. I visited here with my family. Service was really good. Hat's off to the team. Good place to enjoy the Vacation.

It was good but not to that expectation. It was not value for money. They have very limited indoor and outdoor activities. You can find much better resorts with more entertainment for the same amount.. But The staff services was great..

Beautiful place, a true resort, with lots of open spaces, cottages far apart, trees, birds, good food, attentive staff, on the beach. They have lounge chairs on the beach, can lounge in shade and enjoy the sea. Luxury of nature.
