Beautiful sea view to the horizon! Waves hitting the rocks. So calm and peaceful.

This is just beside the fort. It looks to be the guard of the harbor from the open sea. The view is excellent from here. We had a good time sitting on the rocks at the tip. A car can go up to a point, but the path is narrow at places.

Very peaceful place to relax

Was not a crowded place which makes it a better place to relax. Alas, I wish I would have known the place before as it's a damn beautiful sunset you will get there. Note: The harbour gate will be clossed by 6 pm. If you wanna stay longer keep you vehicle outside the gate i.e. pedestrians are allowed. You will have to wait for them to open it once clossed. (they reached back after 15-20 min).

Most important - they lock the gate at EXACTLY 6 pm. If you've driven inside, you won't be able to exit & the watchman will deliberately not be available for half an hour at the least. It is a beautiful driveway & forms one side on the entrance to Mapilla Bay. The entry is via a gate from the St. Angelo's Fort Road. A must visit. The stunning views especially at sunset are well worth it. Be aware that the final stretch of the road is narrow & larger vehicles & SUVs will have difficulty turning around here. So it is better to par a little away & walk down the last 100 metres.
