Aarangali Manapuram - Tourist attraction in Annanad, Kallur Vadakkummuri - Thrissur, India

Arangali Manapuram is along the Banks of Chalakudi River in Thrissur District of Kerala. It is actually located around four Kilometres from chalakudy town. It is a remote area near Annanad. There is a small temple of Lord Ayyappa close to the river bank. In front of the temple there lies the Arangali Manapuram.the thing is actually a Manapuram (Sand bank )could be found in this area which is a rare thing nowadays in kerala. It is a pleasant beautiful place where you can spend some time in peaceful atmosphere.

An evening hangout on Chalakkudi river banks, white shore sand, lush greenery etc. We visited in summer evening, shallow water for swimming (safety precautions required to take),vehicle parking available at small fee;no restaurants and no restrooms available.

Definitely an evening spot that too in a monsoon climate you will get an awesome experience. We have visited there morning in our cycle ride it was 7.45 AM when we where there also it's an open place so sun could warm you up easily.

There's no requirement of any tickets. It's free. However, there is a parking area where Rs 20 is charged for cars, and for two-wheelers a bit lower than that. There is a huge crowd in the evenings on weekends and holidays. You may not be able to buy anything from here. The road to the ghat is narrow for two cars.

Great place to visit in the evenings. Can have a bath in the river. Nice scenic location. Parking fees is charged for cars. Road to reach here is very narrow.

Great place for an evening or watching the sunset. Calm n quiet. Surprised that I found this place only now.

After the floods, water level is below 5 ft. So its safe for anyone to swim here in the river. The place is really beautiful and is best for spending evenings and playing games..

This is a good place for childrens also. This river is not too deep, so for childrens also it's safe. We can walk until half of the river. This river have good manal theeram for playing also. There are more tourists coming here how. It is in chalakudy- Muringoor-Annanad/ Mandikunnu- Arangali.
