Please request the people who visit this place please carry your own bottle and don't throw it please reuse it l
The serenity of the place was truly awe-inspiring. Surrounded by lush greenery, the waterfall seemed like an oasis of tranquility amidst the chaos of the world. It was as if time stood still, allowing me to immerse myself fully in the present moment, forgetting all worries and stresses.
Aapkhol waterfall is located inside the Debrigarh Wildlife Sanctuary near Sardhapali Village, and It is 15 km distance from Bhatli and 39 km from the Bargarh Bus stand. The waterfall comes after a 4 km hill trek to reach this place. The adventure of the waterfall and the environment is enjoyable. This waterfall is surrounded by beautiful hills and dense forest. The scenic beauty of the Aapkhol is so beautiful that tourists have come to see the falls in the winter.
"Kasta Kale Krushna Mile", if this saying is true then this place is worth a visit. Located in the district of Bargarh, Aapkhol waterfall is truly a beautiful heaven in Odisha. Streams have very smooth flow and the green environment is something that you should look after. But be cautious about the path you'd follow up while climbing the mountain because it's very dangerous and steep. Make sure to place your feet at the right rocks, because most rocks are loose and and wrong step will be a life and death question. Also be prepared to walk like 8-10 kms up and down the hill .
Date of Visit 10/08/2023 1. Four wheelers can easily reach there. Road is good, but be careful in rainy season, muds are everywhere, your tyres can stuck there. 2. Locals have made arrangements for paid car parking there. (it's safe, so no need to worry) 3. Locals are also providing swim wears on rental basis. it's really good if you want to go into the waters without having your cloths wet. 4. There are small food and snacks stalls where packaged water is also available. 5. Avoid going there on weekends, it's so rush there. 6. There are two (2) waterfall namely, (a) Bad Aapkhol and (b) Saan Aapkhol. I REALLY SUGGEST TO AVOID TREKKING UP TO THE BAD AAPKHOL. Coz the Trek is so dangerous. please don't take any ladies up there. 7. According to me, As compared to the Saan Aapkhol (which is in the down side) Bad Aapkhol was not so scenic. You will enjoy more in Saan Aapkhol. Be safe and keep enjoying.
