I would not describe the atmosphere, it was similar to any bengali bhater hotel at any busy corners of a city or town across West Bengal. The service was good. People were well behaved and served us the food with the expected hygiene and dignity. The food was a matter of dismay. The regular veg thali was not at all attractive rather I would say the chef did not pay attention at all and the taste was below average. The mutton curry was ok, somewhat above average. Only prefer visiting this place if you have some work around Barasat Civil Court or RTO and have no other better option to have a meal peacefully at a standard bengali hotel.
Good and tasty food, various types of fish fry and curry. And the price is not costly
