It's a mixed experience as few things doesn't bode well. The chicken first of all is not fresh and mostly from frozen ones . So there is a smell specially in chicken starters . On other hand noodle and the fish items are very good. But the steal deal are the deserts. Payes and Misti doi is must have. Decor and music is very nice as well as the utensils. Staffs are good but I would say food quality improvement will be the major step to uplift the restaurant overall

Liked the Bengali theme!! Everything was authentic Bengali like from Bamboo made chairs and table to the banana leaf plates. Food was just awesome 9.5/10 and staff was really good and quick there. I'll say you must try it out it's really good.

Newly opened "authentic" Bengali food joint in Sonari, Jamshedpur. The ambience is very pretty and warm welcoming type.We ordered the full nonveg thali, the rice , dal , sabji was good, we got echor sabji it was okay, the jhuri aloo bhaja was served like 1 tbsp quantity, it tasted nice but too much less quantity, the fish they claimed in the menu as katla, it was pona/rui but the size was big, coming to the chicken, it was too much salty according to my taste, the chutney and payesh was nice. Overall good but has a lot of room for improvement.

It is a chain of restaurants, originated from kolkata. Located at the end of B Road, Sonari, it is a boon for the people who are desirous of authentic bengali cuisines. With traditional cutlery, good service, and a plethora of items in the menu, they sure seem to be paying a lot of attention to the tradition. The dishes which totally had my taste buds were- 1)Kochu pata Chingri 2)Chicken Kasa You must pay a visit here, if you just can't live without good bengali food!

The quality of food here is very good. If you want to eat good Bengali food, you must go here. But their service is very bad. And this summer AC was not working. It was very difficult to eat in the heat. The man who was taking the order also served the dishes. It seems that the number of stuffs here is not enough.

Please don't believe the negative reviews. The food is amazing. So is the ambience. except for Thali, everything was available. The staff is also very friendly. Prices were okay considering the ingredients used . will definitely come here again. Be prepared for a long waiting line if you come late on weekends.

The bengali food can be much better. Fish fry marination was too sour for some reason... How ever they did replace the orders when notified. Basunti pulao was made with long grain rice instead of Gobindo bhog which resulted in a blad tasting pulao with a lot of kewra water for aroma. The "narkol die muger daal" was surprisingly salty when it should have been sweet. Mutton kosha was very nice though. Overall there is room for improvement. However ambience and service was very good.

Delicious food, pleasant ambience. Reasonably priced. Must try their fish items, especially fish fry. Vegetarian items are also available.
