Almost every town in Gujarat has a clock tower. I noticed that this one has a working, and accurate, clock. However it's a electronic clock with a LED display. The tower is a old heritage monument, I thought a electronic clock looked out of place there. I would have preferred the original clock even if it wasn't working. Just saying ...

Situated in the heart of Khambhat, it's a busy market place. Nagar Palika and Police station are situated around. No parking space for 4 wheelers.
Nice business area. Tower is old but the khambhat Municipal Shopping centre was newly renovated. Famous dabda shop is very close. Also famous halwasan and suterfeni shop is right there. Sukhadia Jamnadas Maganlal.
Also Nanalal Maganlal Chawanavala are also walking distance. No parking space is available. Gavara Bazzar Police station is just opposite to Tower. The place is dirty.
Khambhat tower actually have watch so anyone who wanna know time can see.its own station roadand beside gawara road
We visit the city every year for our family function on new year & Diwali.
Every year there is always a fair & the city is decorated with lights & flowers. But from last year no fair due to covid.
