Aaditya Hotel - Lodge in Kullu - Kullu, India

The Aaditya is the go-to hotel for backpackers and well recommended by the Lonely Planet for the past several years. In a great location by the Sarvari river and a stone's throw from the Inter-State Bus Terminus, the hotel is at the edge of Kullu's atmospheric and colourful Old Market. New construction has sort of hemmed in the hotel, so the larger rooms on the lower floors are now viewless and a bit dark. The best rooms adjoin the sunny terrace on the top floor. Room 221 is the finest, if you can walk up four flights of stairs. There's even fine mountain views from the potty! The best thing about the hotel is the friendly management and owners. Everyone's very helpful. I wanted to have cornflakes with hot milk for breakfast, and they immediately went to the market to buy a pack of cornflakes for me. The bedsheets and pillowcases can be a bit cleaner and an extra blanket on cold days would be nice. Definitely a place to visit again and again.

Rooms are just okay. Suited to the price point. However the owner are very money minded. They will charge you highly for even smallest of your request or anything extra. If you are staying, just stay in your room, avoid ordering food or anything add-on.

If you are a samosa and chai lover and you visit Kullu must go to this cute old Desi restaurant it's near the bus stop only once you cross the pull and you can ask anyone they will guide you. I loved the chai, samosa and samosa chat

The view of the hotel at once attract you. Rooms are tidy with proper bedsheets and pillows but when you open the blanket, you will get disappointed. The blanket is not in good condition. You have to ask for the towel. We are the 3 people and on asking for two towel, they provided us only one. They have mentioned free wifi, which is available but you can't use it. Networks are very weak. One tip: at the time of payment, please do cash payment. There online payment is not working properly.

Booked the room at 5:30am wherein they didn't inform us about the checkout time properly, and when we got ready to go out they told us we need to check out we were surprised as to why, since it had been only 5 hours and we had made the advance payment in full (normal charges of the room). The behaviour of the owner/manager also was very rude. Not recommended, the rooms are also small, unhygenic and dingy. Not worth the price you pay at all.

This is the worst hotel, i've ever stayed in my life. Hotel rooms are in the worst condition. Toilet is so dirty that you can't enter it. Blankets are very very dirty and super smelly. Tv connection was not recharged and when asked for it then got a rude reply from staff that it'll not work and no resolution was provided. Staff is very rude. There are bedbugs on the bed and blankets. They are running after money. If you book a room then they will show you 2 rooms, one a neat and clean room and the dirtiest room, which you booked. They will ask you if you need another room then you need to shell out money which is a smart way of earning extra money. Dont waste your money while staying here. Worst decision of my life that i stayed here. There is nothing to like in this hotel.
