Great ground! Outstanding environment. Located opposite of my house. There are great football players. I love this place very much All the people near this ground is very helpful.

Gobardanga is situated on the banks of the river Jamuna. It is located 22.880149degN and 88.760791degE in the district of North 24 parganas of West Bengal. There is a horse bow lake named Kankona Baorh at Media, Gobardanga. It is an open mouthed bangle shaped water body. The lake resembles a Kankon, worn by ladies hence it is being named Kankona Baorh. It is a beautiful lush green place with scenic as well as touring potential. Lots of migratory birds come here in the winter time.

Perfect ground to play football...the local inhabitants always give importance on games and sports.. every afternoon young boys can be seen playing football here.. every year knockout football tournament is organised here with great enthusiasm...the young boys are very proactive..some boys and girls showed a tremendous performance in district level competition..
