Nice view from the top... Though the temperature was 5-6 outside, it wasn't as cool inside because of the wooden interior. Like my stay with home cooked food and seems they can cook any food in Indian, and Arabian.. Food was really taste and no disturbance what so ever. Only that the water heater main switch is in the reception. So don't forget to ask the people to switch on the water heater...
Stayed last week, since the hotel we usually go was full and he referred this hotel. First of all they don't have any pricing list for rooms or for food. The care taker keeps on changing the price depending on the customers. He will try to loot you for everything. Never seen in any hotel which will put a special charges explicitly for cleaning. Hot water will be provided for 24/7 but u will end up staying in room the whole day waiting for hot water . This place is only suitable for couples and one can see lot of unmarried couples and they are ready to afford anything for the rooms. Not suitable for family. If you see a boy sleeping in your room before your check-in , don't get panicked, it's the care takers son! Looters for nothing..
We can call it as a hostel rooms rather than cottage becoz they provide dormitries they ask more money if we want rooms. No proper service is provided. Hot water is not provided. For food better to go near hotels. Only positive is the view of morning sunrise from balcony.
AS cottage is one of the best cottage located merely 10 mins walk from lake at a perfect location for the view of woods from one side and all the Constructions on the other side. Coming to the facility, the management took care of us as a family. The food is the major attraction at this cottage as it is home made but the taste is better than any restaurant in kodaikanal. I would love to visit the cottage again soon. Thank you.

Very homely setup with a wonderful view of Kodaikanal hills. You can avail homemade food if you aren't in the mood for street food. Located near the heart of the town, so most of the nearby attractions are within walking distance.
U feel like cheated. Room rents not displayed anywhere. Caretaker will try to charge you more as possible. Rooms are like dormitory and rooms standards are not good. Caretaker allows unmarried couple, and thereby it getting good stars in this review.
