A.K. Sea View Residency - Hotel in Kalapet - Pondicherry, India

No housekeeping service ...when if a guest stay for a week no house keeping services...high price..no front desk....no help...rude employees.

The rooms are dusty as hell and the hotel manager is the incharge of bedsheets he will distribute just 2 bedsheets for a family of 6 that stays in the room with 1 bed and 2 sofa.The rooms are not at all clean it has triggered my dust allergy a lot after visiting that place.They just can't understand the difference between a family and people who stays for drinking.They just treat people coming with family as if they won't pay the amount instead they would check out without paying the cost of stay. It was over prized for the worst service they provided.The only good thing is the restrooms were good.

God forsaken place. No am not biased. Read on The rooms are small. There's no lift to 2nd floor. There are only THREE people in this hotel. The manager, the night duty person and a maid for cleaning. Linen is dirty and they don't change on request. There is NO KITCHEN. NO FOOD NO TEA COFFEE NOTHING. There are NO restaurants nearby especially for breakfast. Swiggy is at least 45 mts of delivery. There is NO public transport. You walk 1.5 km to the university gate for auto. The lights on the corridor are often off. The rooms open into a corridor that overlooks a busy noisy highway. NO ONE PICKS THE PHONE from room dialling or from outside. I did a fully paid advance booking and got stuck for 3 nights. Please be careful.

This hotel rooms and service is very affordable at this range. But the only drawback is that they don't have lift facility. And if you get a room in 2nd floor it's really hectic because the steps are also a little bit steep. Other wise their service and rooms are really good.

Very nice stay. Good clean fresh room. Clean washroom. The feel was good. Location is roadside itself - around 16km away from pondicherry area ( so better to have your own means of travel) . You can also get public busses from front of the hotel itself ( but buss frequency irregular). Alright service from staff. No problems with ac or other equipments. Not exactly sea view. Surely eorth it for the price.

First of all, they refuse to accept the booking. It took half an hour to get the room. very rude behavior of the hotel in charge. dirty room, floor, wall. Water they serve is not clean. The bathroom is stinky. Not worthy for four-digit room rent. when I compared it with the hotel tariff, I found that I paid 2.5 times additional with the booking. strictly not recommended for families. Highly disappointed. Restaurant food might cheap and non veg lovers may like their street food stall, bit they yet to practice professional service.
