It is a venue of major Durga Puja pandal and theme for 2023 was Chardham. Really, it was an amazing experience for us.
It's a beautiful experience to visit this place for ocassion of Durga Puja. This year the theme was chardham . Really it was so nice .
This year their theme was char dham which was good but due to the huge crowd they're not allowing anyone to go up and you just have to see the pandal from a distance and then you can view the Maa Durga's Idol. Pandal was good and one of the best of Kalyani. But this year we had a huge crowd in Kalyani which has caused a lot of issues in padal hopping. Most of the roads had no entry boards which really created huge panic.
Theme was : "CharDham" The Char Dham is a set of four pilgrimage sites in India. The four Dhams are Badrinath, Dwarka, Jagannath and Rameswaram. The Char Dham as defined by Adi Shankara (686-717 CE) consists of four Hindu pilgrimage sites.
This location has become a centre of beautiful and attractive theme of Durga Puja pandal. Every year on this festival you will get to see different types of amazing pandal's theme at kalyani. "Char dham" theme has been made in 2023 that is mesmerizing everyone. The pandal recreates the divine Char Dham pilgrimage which involves visiting four holy sites in the Himalayas: Badrinath, Kedarnath, Gangotri, and Yamunotri. Amazing char dham theme this year in durga pujo, but crowd management system isn't efficient... So it will take much time, even more than ITI more pandel (as per my experience on tritiya 2023)
