The temple complex is now maintain by Archaeological Survey of India. The Chausathi Yogini Temple (64-Yogini Temple) of Hirapur, also said Mahamaya Temple, is 20 km outside Bhubaneswar.

I am simply blown away by the richness of India's history. It's amazing that most Hindus won't even know about this amazing Tantric temple situated in such an awesome, calm, serene location. You can see 64 forms of Goddess Shakti, including a female form of Lord Ganesh! If you are in Bhubaneshwar, you must visit this temple
One of the finest piece of architecture which was destroyed by the invaders. There were 64 idols of goddess and hence the name chausath yogini but currently there are only 63. Each idol is having a different hairstyle and ornaments. Such was the detailing... There is a platform in center which was used to perform tantric activities and hence the temple is open and doesnt have a roof. You will be mesmerised looking at the carvings and this is definitely not a place to miss when you are in Bhubaneswar... Better to visit during morning or evening hours as this place falls slightly outside the city... You can hire a ola/uber rental and cover this place along with Rajarani temple, Brahmeshwara temple and Bhaskareswara temple on the way
A 8th - 9th Century temple located at Hirapur, around 20km from Bhubaneswar. It's an Ancient Tantra kshetra. The most distinct feature of this temple is it's circular and roofless. The most enjoyable thing in this temple is the hair style, ornaments, weapons and bahanas of all the 64 yoginis are distinct from each other. At center of 64 yoginis there is the place of Devi Mahamaya. Every year 64 Yogini Mahoschab is arranged here. Also you can enjoy small picnic or party by booking a slot here with Temple Authority. There are total four, 64 Yogini Temples in India, one of them is this 64 Yogini Temple here at Hirapur, Odisha, this the oldest and smallest one (other 3 are located at Ranipur jharial, Odisha; Khajuraho, MP; Morena, MP).
A unique temple. Show 64 avatars of maa kali on the temple wall.
Nice place to explore. Nothing much except the 64 different Devi murthys /sculptures. Most of them were destroyed or broken by kala pahad, we heard that from the deities.
