3R Residency - Hotel in Anachal - Idukki, India

We stayed here as a family of 4. The place was very neat and clean. The rooms were spacious and the toilets were also clean. Hot water was available 24*7. The view from the balcony was great. Good restaurants were present nearby. The owner was very kind and hospitable. He is multilingual. He also suggested us places to visit and timing. Prices are cheaper compared to all similar properties. Would definitely recommend this.

Worst experience ever in my life, I've been to more than 20+ hostels across India the kind of experience I had here can't be explained. I had a 103 fever so I kept my plate in the basin after eating and thought ill clean it in the morning, the owner knocked on my door & asked me at 2 A.M in the night to wake up and asked me to clean it. The owner is very arrogant and gets hyper instantly. If you're looking for 3rd class residency & 3rd class experience this is perfect otherwise look for better options.

Very nice hostel, away from the crowded and touristy Munnar but also not secluded. I had a great stay there, the host Shaiju is very nice and helpful, from guiding the way to reach the hostel to helping you with everything around he is absolutely great. The hostel is a little uphill so he even helped me take my scooty down and would even offer to pick or drop you from down if you need help with it.

I had a great stay at 3R Residency. For people who are searching for a cheap hostel, it's worth booking it. The personnel was very kind and helpful. The location it's a bit far, more like in remote place and quite up hill. But after all, was okay, it took like 15 minutes form the center of Anachal.

ok ok type. we were there for one night. Located in uphill. may b someone can get a good view in sunny days from there but in rainy days which is very common in munnar, its too pathetic. to reach up there is a difficult task if you have heavy luggage ,also they dont have in house restuarent so u have to come down to get your food from up there. perfect for people who prefers cardio

We stayed in a dormitory for 2 days and the price was very reasonable and the rooms were clean with an attached bathroom. The owner was kind and also suggested a few places to visit . Rooms prices are very less compared to other hostels or places. Must visit place in Anachal..

The best backpacker hostel in Munnar-Anachal. Clean and well maintained dormitories and rooms.

The place is cool. It is a bit far from Munnar town but the facilities and services are great. The view from the balconies, which each room has is quite lovely. Also the rooms are really nice and fancy. There is hot water availability and the host is a really nice person who considers his guests. There is a kitchen that is open for people to use and if you don't feel like cooking you can also get food from restaurants which are at a walkable distance. The hotel is on top of a steep so personal vehicles might not help reaching there. And you will have to park yours near the road in town. But the place is worth it. Especially if you want to relax and chill with friends and family.
