3 olives restaurant - Fine dining restaurant in Shillong - East Khasi Hills, India

It is located on the 3rd floor. The coffee shop is separated. 3olives's interior designs is explosive. Hats off to the maintenance team. Although we went to grab a buffet morning breakfast which is 299/-. Unfortunately buffet was closed down by 9:30. In the absence of hunting Continental breakfast all over hotels was flooded with Indian cuisine like Uttapam, Dosa, Vada which is slightly disappointing for someone whose palatte is dissimilarly contrasting.

Went out for a Christmas Eve lunch at their restaurant. Was very happy to see an item on their menu, which I have never seen in any restaurant in Shillong, Laal Maas, which is a popular Rajasthani Mutton dish. Ordered it with a few tawa rotis, and though the waiters were very attentive, the dish came out after a good 20mins. This had gotten me all excited. However, after tasting the dish I realized that it had so much of ghee and that the after taste reminded me of those pre-cooked masala meals packets. It had 5-6 small pieces of mutton which seemed to not have absorbed any of the masala from the curry into the meat. And for Rs. 500+ taxes for just this one dish, it completely got me all disappointed. Anyway I'm giving it 2 stars, 1 for the ambience and 1 for the service. Nothing for the food.

Decor of the restaurant is extremely outstanding. But the food here is not up to the mark. Even the menu is really pathetic. Prices of the food and drinks are way expensive.

We had a nice lady to take our order and she had valuable suggestions and she made us feel at home and served us food hats off to you dear...she told us about the traditional khasi dress...she looked like us a south Indian thanky you God bless you dear

Pathetic place due to pathetic management. Do not waste your time and money here

EXTREMELY expensive. Food and service horrible.Not worth trying at all. For such an expensive menu, the food is expected to be awesome but eating at a fast food joint would be much better. Even a normal veg/ chicken fried rice was deep fried... it was crunchy!! And not to forget... the toilet stinks. The floor was wet. The toilet door broken. I was afraid i and the kids were going to get locked inside. I had to stand at the door throughout. .

Please give training to the 'Waiters'. I had a horrible experience today. Did not receive all the items ordered. Bill was presented with all the items ordered. Out of six persons amongst us one didn't receive the item he ordered. I have visited the place many times. The service was always very slow. Today it was the 'WORST'. Henceforth I will never visit the place again.

Ill be very honest here. The place is really good but the food is way to expensive and tasteless. They have to improve on the flavour and quantity of the food. Your are basically paying for the ambience. The food was utterly horrible.
