We loved our experience here and will definitely be going back. Our party consisted of a toddler and elderly grandparents with both ages having different accessibility needs. Amruta and her team accommodated each need without any reservations. This was probably the best food I've had in years, and we will definitely be going back for more. My toddler loved the food which was shocking as this is his first visit to India, and enjoyed running about in the spacious rooms. We didn't explore much around because we mainly went there to rest and reset, and this place was perfect for that.

Undoubtedly one of the best farmstays that I have stayed at. It's a remote place which is very very quiet, pet friendly and serves healthy food. The hosts are very friendly and fun to be around. Anyone who loves to be in a rustic and natural environment would definitely visit.

Beautiful cottage with amazing hosts. They are super considerate and will ensure a comfortable stay. We went with our four legged family member and he had a blast. If you seek peace and tranquility amidst a almost perfectly placed adobe amongst nature, please do visit.

130, Awata or as we know it, 'Pankaj ka ghar', has undoubtedly become a home away from home for us. We visited there with our dog for the first time two years ago post Covid, and have been in love with the place ever since. Set amidst the serene meadows by the Vaitarna lake, Awata's silence and tranquility will engulf you like a warm blanket and keep you coming back for more. The thoughtfully built and aesthetically decorated cottages and the home-made local food is what sets it apart for me. It is definitely one of the very few places that is truly pet friendly and doesn't just use it as an adjective. Not only do the hosts have their own pets, but they are very mindful of all kinds of creatures that inhabit and share the land they do. And all pet guests are well taken care of, just like their humans are. There is immense focus and effort towards keeping the place locally run and environmentally sustainable, from the staff and in-house organic kitchen garden to the handmade soaps and now a pottery studio. And the hosts are a warm, quiet couple who are always around to help or chat if you like. I have lost count of how many times I've been there and still look forward to many more.

Had booked this place initially for hubby's birthday in 2021 but could not make it so gifted the stay to my brother who loved it. We could finally book it again for hubby's bday in 2023 and what a lovely birthday celebration it was!! it being the monsoon season, the drive to this place was simply heaven. we had chosen 2 days in the middle of the week. that made us the only guests here and that was even more incredibly special! below are the points that made our stay in this place absolutely beautiful - 1. The very cute looking cottages 2. The walk to the lake. It was such a bliss to walk here in the evening. the lake was not yet full so there was a vast land with lots of streams flowing to the lake. we had a gala time just walking here with not a soul to be seen around and not a single trash in sight! a rare sight in india truly. 3. do not have enough words to say about the delicious food. every day we were treated to some new home made dish and it was just dammnn tasty. could not stop eating!! 4. the absolutely polite and sweet hosts Amruta and Pankaj who were so friendly and helpful with every little thing. they also gave us pointers to go on a drive nearby and that was truly one of the best drives for us in maharashtra - just the way we like it. narrow winding roads in the hills, surrounded by lots of fields and tons of streams to sit and soak in the beauty of the nature, a few farmers here n there and not a single tourist in sight. it was the perfect birthday celebration for 2 nature-crazy people. this is the place perfect for people like us who like to stay away from typical touristy crowds and just become one with nature. would def like to come back here again!

130 Awata: The phrase 'home away from home' is so often used and when you break it down, what does it really mean. It means family, friendship, home cooked meals, a place you can relax and even if it is just for a few days, you can feel like you are a part of it. Staying at 130 Awata made us feel exactly the same. Amruta and Pankaj are such kind and lovely hosts and you can sense a calm vibe around them. It felt like a friendship we had all along. The chatting over chai about this and that felt like we have known each other for a long time. We are in awe of them - their ideology about sustainability and helping people for a higher good has definitely left a mark in our hearts. About the place - the home is in a quaint town away from the everyday noise of the city. If you are craving for some quiet time, this is exactly the place for you. Each cottage comes with a huge living room and a mezzanine bedroom and has been carefully thought about keeping sustainability in mind. There is a lake nearby, which is walking distance from the home or you can just walk around the property and explore the beauty of nature. About the food - the food is mind blowing!! Home cooked meals made with so much love and skill by the staff, will definitely make you miss home. Please ensure you inform Amruta about any food allergies or preferences so that wastage is avoided. General tips - please carry reusable water bottles so as to avoid plastic waste (drinking water is made available in glass jugs at the property). If you are planning a trip during the monsoons, please carry odomos or a mosquito repellent, a power bank (as there could be power cuts) and a torch. Keep the property clean and noise free and respect Mother Nature the way one would expect to be respected. Overall a big thumbs up to Amruta and Pankaj for making our stay memorable. We definitely wish to visit them soon.

A Family Retreat in Nature: 130, Awata Our family recently had the pleasure of staying at a charming farmhouse located near Vaitarna Dam, and it was an experience that exceeded all our expectations. From the moment we arrived, we were enchanted by the farmhouse's amazing architecture, the vast open landscape, and the serene atmosphere that embraced us. The farmhouse itself was a true marvel of design. Its blend of rustic charm and modern comforts created a cozy and welcoming environment for our family. We appreciated the attention to detail and the thoughtful touches that made it feel like a home away from home. As we set off on our nature walks, these two furry explorers would eagerly tag along, their tiny paws pitter-pattering beside us. Their presence brought smiles to our faces and filled our hearts with warmth. It was a delight to watch them scamper through the tall grass, chasing after butterflies and exploring their surroundings with unbridled curiosity. The culinary experience at the farmhouse was simply outstanding. The talented kitchen staff catered to the diverse tastes of our family, serving up a delectable variety of dishes made with fresh, local ingredients. From hearty breakfasts to scrumptious dinners, every meal was a delightful adventure for our taste buds. Privacy was a key factor for us and the farmhouse provided ample space for us to relax and unwind. The well-appointed accommodations offered the perfect balance of comfort and seclusion, allowing us to spend quality time together while also enjoying personal moments of solitude. The mornings at the farmhouse were particularly magical for us. The peaceful ambiance, coupled with the fresh country air, invigorated our spirits and set the tone for a memorable day ahead. It was a welcome escape from the hustle and bustle of our daily lives, providing us with a tranquil sanctuary to connect as a family. One of the highlights of our stay was the opportunity for stargazing. The farmhouse's remote location and minimal light pollution created a breathtaking celestial panorama. We are grateful for the precious moments we shared at this farmhouse, and we eagerly look forward to returning in the future to create more beautiful memories as a family.
