10 Nautical Mile - Mountain Cottage of a Mariner - Cottage rental in Ranikhet, Gadhwali - Almora, India

I really enjoyed my holidays with family over here. The location of this house is beautiful and overlooks a valley. Our host@Purnita was constantly in touch to make your experience better. The staff at the house Jeevan and Deepak really took good care of us. The food cooked by Jeevan was soo yummy especially the butter chicken. We were also lucky to see a view of a few peaks from this place. If you are looking to spend a good time with your family then this is the place to be at.

It is a lovely place with a very warm abience in its most nascent sense. The views are well captured, and i really love the windchime that welcomes the visitor. It really was home being surrounded by the succulents and bonsai within the property as well as outside. Although the staff could be better trained for empathetic services, the overall experience is better than most homestays.

We stayed here with our pet dog for 6 days. The location is very scenic, approach to the cottage from NH109, is both descent and incline which 4x4 vehicles can manage easily. The cottage has been done up very tastefully by the Owners and is very comfortable. The chef Jeevan is an excellent cook. He is always ready to prepare for you whatever you like and which is possible with limited resources. Deepak is a nice boy who takes care of the cottage and very courteous. Would recommend strongly for a peaceful, comfortable holiday with your family & pet with the luxury of good food.

I had the most amazing holiday experience with 10 Nautical Miles. The location is breathtaking and the property is aesthetically designed. It's obvious that a lot of love went into building this place. But the amazing hospitality and delicious food really set 10 Nautical Miles apart! The caretakers there were humble and polite, and their food was absolutely delicious. Everything was made fresh from scratch (Highly recommend the butter chicken for dinner and aloo puri for breakfast). The hosts (Ajay & Purnita) were incredibly kind, helpful, and thoughtful. They made sure that we had everything we needed and that our stay was comfortable & enjoyable. They even went above and beyond to make my stay special. As it was my birthday, they put up a lovely banner around breakfast to surprise me - it was such a thoughtful gesture that really made me feel special. It's truly in a league of its own - I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a stay away from the city hustle.

A lovely cottage about 30 minutes drive from the town of Ranikhet. The location adds to the beauty of an already exquisitely decorated cottage. You get a lovely view of the valley and the mighty Himalayas too( from what I hear it was cloudy during my visit). You get to witness magical sunrises right from the comfort of your room. The rooms have panoramic windows which don't obstruct your view. The front lawn has been curated into a beautiful garden with lits of colorful flowers. Even the rooms have been beautifully decorated with numerous artifacts and souvenirs. The food prepared by the two humble and polite caretakers here is icing on the cake. They prepare and serve freshly cooked home meals. Even the chapattis are served to you puffed up and hot as you consume them.

One of the best Airbnb experiences I have had so far. Absolutely serene location. The views around the property are lovely. You can just hang around at the cottage, no need to go for any sightseeing. The cottage is clean and cosy. It has been decorated in a wonderful manner. The lawn and garden is nicely maintained. Our pet dog enjoyed the property as much as we did. The staff (Krishna and Jeevan) ensure that guests feel comfortable and do every possible thing to make your stay delightful. The food they provided was amazing. I would certainly recommend this one to my friends and family.
