Local GuideThis place has such a great atmosphere. It feels very speakeasy! A cool place to find in downtown Portsmouth. I would definitely go back. I do just want to say: They advertise their dishes as being sharable. They are small plates, like I’m talking 4 bacon wrapped tater tots. If you’re with another person, sure, these dishes are sharable. But if you have a table of 5 or 6 or more, no these plates are not sharable. Is everyone just going to have 1 bite from each plate? You’ll definitely need to order 2 things if you intend to eat here as a meal. The drinks were very cool and cute! Even better— TASTY! Parking is easy, right across from the entrance is a parking lot. Server and host was nice and accommodating. I was able to make a reservation online easily the day of.

Local GuideThe food was good. However, the drinks were amazing. I would recommend the Smokey old fashion or caramel salty martini. You can find this restaurant in charming Olde Towne Portsmouth in the basement of an older home. Gives a wonderful speak easy feel.

Local GuideQuaint, kitschy joint. Atmosphere was great. Lots of interesting food on the menu. Extremely expensive for the 3 bites you get, but it is tapas style after all so we weren't expecting much. Blows my mind that as we were seated they mentioned the food is designed to be shared though. 🤔🤣 By what!? Mice?!? I'm not a large gal, nor do I eat a large amount of food. I'd venture a bet that I eat less food in an entire day than your avg American eats in one meal, but... this was ridiculous. The selection of dishes was great, as was the fact that most everything is gluten free, or can be made that way. The portions practically non existent for an exorbitant price. The experience was completely soured by the fact that our waitress, Brandy, is of the erroneous impression that if she doesn't write the order down it makes her a great waitress. It's actually the exact opposite. Not only are you telling us you have no respect for how we would like our food cooked, but it increases the potential for error threefold. Shock of all shocks our food came out wrong. Not that she would know since she neither brought it out, checked on us after it was, nor asked how it was after we were done. She never once offered to refresh our drinks. As a matter of fact, the ONLY thing she did was "take our order", then bring us the bill. Seeing my cut open pork medallion that I specifically asked to have well done "no pink whatsoever", it didn't phase her. Didn't phase her that I hadn't taken a bite. Didn't phase her when appalled by her lack of concern over my inedible meal, I said "Could I have a box, I guess I'll take this home and cook it". She didn't miss a beat in trying to up her income by asking "Will there be anything else?" 🤨🤨🤨 I couldn't eat the pork that was brought to me still red in the center (🪱🪱🪱🪱🪱🪱🪱🪱🪱🪱🪱🪱) and you think I want something else?!?! Thanks, but the $70 we are spending on THREE BITES OF BUTTERNUT SQUASH, and a well done steak (NOT how it was ordered) is enough. I have to go somewhere else to eat now, thanks. 🙄 My recommendation - if you are going for a drink, I think it's a cute little speakeasy. If you just want a snack and can afford to pay $8-$20 for a couple of bites, then give the place a try. But, I will NEVER be back. Note how my hand covers my entire $16 undercooked pork tenderloin. Steak was ordered medium rare, pork was ordered well done (not a hint of pink). Came out the exact opposite. Dark in there, part of the atmosphere, so I didn't bother taking a picture of how pink my pork was inside. But, it was perfectly cooked for medium rare. Fault was not on the kitchen. Fault is on an arrogant "waitress". Picture of my pork medallion is after the half hour drive. This meat has had time to oxygenate and is STILL pink. The chef should know better than to service this even if they think the customer ordered it this way. The owner needs to educate his staff. If you like honest, detailed reviews, follow me for more.

We ate dinner last night at Still. We have been many times and once in a while there might be a minor issue. Last night was the exception. We started with the toasted baguette with lemon zest butter. The baguette was toasted and cut into slices, as it usually is. The butter was so hard you could not spread it on the bread. So we just ate clumps of the butter on the baguette. My hubby ordered the pot pies. They were very dry and extremely salty and not very hot-temperature wise. I had the filet over masked potatoes. The steak was cooked as I ordered but the potatoes were cold. For dessert I ordered the S'mores. The marshmallows were huge and rock hard. I could not cut them in half with my knife. I tried to cook them over the flame from the pot that came with them and before they were soft or cooked, the flame went out. The S'mores also were not presented with the requested chocolate sauce. Our waiter was very attentive and we thought he did an excellent job. We do not hold him responsible for the issues with the food. We were so disappointed as we have eaten at Still many times and we now consider if we'll go back. We've never had issues with the entire meal, and we were one of just a few tables at the time, so the kitchen was not rushed by an onslaught of people. The price for a dinner of such inferior quality is prohibitive when thinking about eating at Still again.

Local GuideMy dinner came 10 minutes before partners. Food was cold and bland, several ingredients were left off of desserts. Plates were not cleared between courses, and were piled on our small table, dessert brought while still eating dinners and soup. Server never checked on us just rudly brought food to the table and turned quickly away. Didn't let the horrible service ruin our evening, but we will not return.

Local GuideThis place was exceptionally good. The atmosphere is very calming and chill. We had a reservation and got seated on time. The food is tapas style, so small sharable plates. Protein sizes around about 4 to 5 ounces a plate. My wife and I got 6 food items total and a drink each, so we were about $50 a person. Everything was delicious and the drinks were quite good. Duck tacos are probably my favorite out of everything we got, followed by the seared tuna. If I had to say something negative. It was in the 50s outside and inside the restaurant was quite warm. I do wish it was a little cooler inside. Also, the lamb chops dish. Great flavor combo, tasty sauce, and risotto was fantastic, but I feel like the lamp could have been more tender. I just have had some amazing Mediterranean lamp chops, so I was expecting better/different. I would definitely go back, and I would highly recommend

Local GuideWas told by friends we had to try Still Wordly for tapas. I’m so glad we did. We sat at the bar which we prefer. Jamie was our server. Very friendly and informative. Great vibe with good music in background. The duck confit tacos and the cast iron filet was delicious. We also had the meatloaf which was good, but started with the other two first. Our mistake!! Lol!! Highly recommend coming here and enjoying some great tapas. Forgot to take pic of steak. We ordered the broccolini which was good also. Only recommendation is having N/A beer in stock. N/A is has become very popular and enjoyable. There is many people who would enjoy this delicious food with a cold beer.

Great food, very good service. Well appointed decor. The atmosphere/ambience was interrupted by an extremely loud and obnoxious group of drunks that spoiled our dining experience. It would have been better had the management put a stop to it sooner.
