Ocean Palms Motel was the perfect place to stop in on my road trip! They are super dog friendly and even give a little treat bag for the pup! Check in was super easy and the staff was lovely. There was a nice little outdoor hang out area and the room was perfect and cozy. Only a 10 minute walk to the beach so the location was perfect for us! The pup and I approve and will definitely be back in the future!
We loved our stay. Amazing Motel! Very clean and comfortable room. Outside also has a nice area to sit, relax and have a fire. Motel is not far from all the bars and restaurants and the beach. We loved this Motel. We had a good night out in Pismo. Slept really well.
I didn’t want to write this review in fears more people will find this place lol but it was an amazing little motel! Room was spacious.. cozy and clean! My old man approved as well.. said this is our spot every time we do date weekend in Pismo! Ooo and Sandra (I think that was her name) from the front desk.. she was amazing and so helpful with our reservations! If you haven’t stayed here it’s a must!
We love Pismo. We usually stay at the beach and camp there but we made a pit stop here on our way down from Monterrey Bay. Honestly, we loved staying here. It was comfortable, spacious, clean, and simple. It had everything we needed at this motel. The pier was very close by too. Food and coffee was nearby. They offer a food delivery service with a discount too. They have a menu in the room. We didn't order food but it was a good option to have. I would definitely stay here again and recommend family and friends to stay here!!
Loved our stay. Had three dogs with us and most everything we wanted to do was walkable. The rooms were nice, nothing fancy but with dogs that’s the last thing you want. They also took into account my request for least amount of steps as we have an arthritic dog. Our room was close to the dog area. The service was terrific and everyone was super nice. We’ll be recommending to friends and family. We will be back.
Very nice, and clean. Couldn't hear the highway next to the motel! It is close to shops and restaurants and it is an easy walk to the beach and the pier. I appreciate that you have a spot for the dogs to go potty. Thanks for your kindness when speaking with me at the front desk!
Definitely recommend. Great place to stay - location is great, lots of places to eat nearby and easy access to the beach and pier. Beds were comfy and the room was nice and clean. Toiletries were good too. Suggest staying in a room on level 2 if you can - we are on level 1 and the people above were very noisy!
We enjoyed our stay at Ocean Palms very much. The room was simple, but more than adequate. It was very quiet and extremely clean! The bed was very comfortable. The staff was very pleasant and accommodating and all of our needs were met The motel is a 5 minute walk to the beach and Pismo Pier.

Beautiful little park on the cliffs overlooking Pismo beach. Toys/ playground was very busy when we were there. A nice path goes along the cliff with lots of places to sit and enjoy the views
This little overlook provides an amazing view! It wasnât super busy, but itâs surprisingly chilly out so it may be that. Plenty of room for the kiddos to run around and play, just be careful of the construction areas!
We love staying here! Every room has an ocean view and when we stay on upper levels we love keeping the sliding door open so we can hear the ocean waves and feel the fresh air. Very cool town as well. We love to go into town for food and San Luis Obi
Visited this location close to sunset on our way back to Pismo from the Hearst Castle. The grounds are very interesting and beautiful. The entire visit lasted about one hour and cost $20 for two adults, kids are free. I look forward to being able to

Wonderful experience in December. Not overly crowded, weather was wonderful. I even found a wild honey bee hive in a tree along the road when we parked. Beach was beautiful as well. White sand beach.
Nice park overlooking the ocean. Small playground and green space. You can climb down to the tide pools area, I wouldn't recommend the climb for little kids.
