Positive: I didn't stay at this hotel. Negative: I pulled up to this hotel at around 830pm the night I was supposed to check in. I was travelling to Little Rock with my 7 year old daughter for the eclipse. To my surprise, the hotel was closed for renovations. Negative: ""
Positive: "" Negative: Hotel was closed for renovations when we arrived to check in. No one there to answer phone calls to number on door. Make sure u confirm with hotels primary website I guess!
Bug infested, horrible smell, raggedy carpets, and dirty. My family stayed here for 5 days and it was not a good experience. Nobody comes to clean the rooms and we had to hunt down staff for clean towels. We went to the front desk and asked for housekeeping to come and clean our room/change the sheets and they told us we’d have to stay for a week in order for the room to be cleaned. Then the desk clerk tried to pass us some sheets (dingy ones at that) for us to make our OWN beds! Very ghetto hotel would not recommend.
UNBELIEVABLY UNPROFESSIONAL HOTEL!! No toilet paper!!! No towels. No wash towels. No hand towels. NOTHING. — ZERO — NADA!!!
Toilet seat missing a bolt so that it flew to one side when lifting. Really? A toilet seat bolt is that hard to replace?
Junky, clunky, smelly, stains... HORRIBLE hotel!
Textbook example of what businesses look like in a DNC dominated town.
NEVER EVER BOOK HERE!!! There was mold all throughout the room. The sheets had not been changed from the previous guests (huge sweat stains?). The bathroom was atrocious like it had never been cleaned and once again mold. The smell made it hard to breathe. When I came to check in there was no one at the front desk. Then when I tried to call the front desk no one answered (multiple times). Honestly this place made me feel super uncomfortable and unsafe. This place deserves to be shut down. It’s a health and safety risk to even stay here. Shame on whoever owns this place yet I don’t think they care based on the other reviews I’ve read.
We rented three rooms this past weekend for our employees so we could get away from work and enjoy some time together. Our air conditioner in our room didn't work and they quickly changed my family to another room that felt wonderful. The front desk employees were very nice and accommodating. The housekeeping staff were quick to get us additional supplies that we needed. Milo, the ground keeper was so helpful as well. The rooms were very clean. We have stayed at this location several times in the last few years and have always been pleased.
We had to move to another room due to the filthy unclean floor. The second room was better but the floor was a filthy dark carpet; therefore, the dirt was not readily seen until my girls walked barefoot and got ready to sit on side of the bed…feet were filthy. This hotel does not vacuum the floors. We had to put hotel towels on the floor all around beds. Moreover, I would not dare eat the free breakfast nor ask for extra towels after this. Needless to say, we went shopping at Walmart for towels and bed covers to place on top of the covers…didn’t trust under the sheets either. I will never stay at this hotel again nor will I recommend it to anyone. Oh yeah, the pool was none functional and had green standing water which indicate that this pool has not been in use for a while. Code violation… breeding ground for mosquitoes for sure. Parking area too dark. Well! The front desk clerk was very kind. I stayed because of her and the location. (Thank God for McDonald’s across the street!!!) After all, it was not clerk’s job to make sure this hotel is cleaned properly; this is the hotel manager’s job. Someone in higher places really need to pay this hotel a visit. The location is great; just need better management, less street people hanging around at driveway; and more professional cleaning staff to truly clean and sanitize the rooms. This hotel has great potential to be a great place to stay and money maker of course. But not as it is. Remind us when the under new management sign goes up AND rooms are cleaned professionally; so, we can check it out. We visit Little Rock often and this hotel was a bad experience for our family.
This hotel is nothing like as it's depicted on the web. I have given a poor review directly to Wyndham but as yet no response. So having had the opportunity to respond I will let the travelling world my thoughts. Most of the people staying here were most likely having their accommodation paid for by the government and most appeared to have 'issues'. I fully understand that people fall on hard times and have all sorts of issues and it's good that hotels can accommodate such people but don't 'sell' the hotel to the paying public at full rate when both paid for guests and paying guests have and need their own accommodation criteria and the hotel is far from suitable for both. Down and outs were milling around the hotel entrance making the whole experience very uneasy. The swimming pool had clearly not been used in some time and resembled a mud pool (the water was a greenish brown colour). Bare wires were hanging out of the control panel in the lift and a wall had been kicked in by a plug socket in the lift lobby area. There was a hole in the bathroom ceiling with a piece of tissue to block it. The duty manager asked an employee to cover the windows such that the pool could not be seen and also said to another employee that if "guests don't like the hotel they have 30 minutes to check out". The breakfast that was included the price was an urn of coffee and a few pieces of stale bread for toast. One of the people (not sure if they were an employee or guest) in the area of the bread and coffee urn said "the food truck had not arrived yet". The whole stay was unacceptable and I am seeking a full refund.
