This is barely a Hilton. If you’re an honors member and you anticipate you will get any type of perks related to being an honors member go somewhere else. First off the post about the smell. We were on the first floor and we could not figure out where the weird weird smell was coming from. It turns out It flooded the room every time we Flushed the toilet. my biggest issue though is we arrived exactly at check-in time. Our room was not ready. We were staying for three days. We’re diamond members. I did not pick my room. I let them pick my room for me. Room was not ready. That was a minor inconvenience because it was ready within 45 minutes. but then no soap or shampoo. Only found this out after getting into the shower that evening. Many things like exterior door access did not work. icemaker on main floor did not work. Don’t be fooled by the statement that this location has a restaurant. It has a breakfast buffet. The “restaurant “does not serve anything other than breakfast. to my surprise the breakfast is not covered by your daily food credit. The only thing that is covered by your daily food credit is a Greek yogurt. Even though the Greek yogurt is eight dollars I can’t eat enough Greek yogurt to make up for $30 a day. we should’ve stayed at the Hilton that was not too far away. or maybe we should just start spreading our loyalty between Marriott and other hotel chains. It seems Hilton doesn’t really care if you get a good experience in a Hilton branded hotel. What a waste of my bonus points. We actually left early. Good luck. The shared pics are of the totally empty soap dispensers in the shower and the very clear breakfast menu that states you can only have one item which is Greek yogurt with you’re my benefits.

For as much as this place cost, I would imagine the room would be a bit nicer. The curtains were torn and ratty looking. I booked a room with queen size beds and I'm pretty sure, they were full size instead. Not a big deal about the beds. Just needed somewhere to shower and sleep. No safe in the room. And no breakfast included. For the price, at least offer some cereal and bagels or something. I wasn't aware we had to pay for parking before we arrived. I wasn't even sure if we were going to find parking. We had to wait for someone to leave. If you're going to charge for parking, there should be adequate room to park. It wasn't late when we arrived, maybe about 4 pm or so, so I expected some parking. Not a bad place to stay, but nothing to write home about. Next time I'm staying in the woodlands, I will be finding another place to stay.

Hotel room needs updating and smelled horrible. We immediately went to Target to purchase Lysol and air fresheners. Breakfast and banquet food was horrible and the so called cooks should be ashamed! Staff was not friendly and messed up my reservation and also charged me twice which I had to contact the hotel four times before it got resolved. I was really disappointed because I typically enjoy Hilton Garden Inn properties.

Avoid this hotel unless you absolutely have to stay here. The first room smelled just like urine and we had to get another. I’m greatful to the employee who changed our room. Do not be fooled by the nice decor when you come in. The rooms are extremely outdated and they need to be renovated asap. I’m talking plaid couches old. So sad. The location is great if you are going to a concert at the Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion. 10 minutes walk from the hotel.

I’ve stayed here numerous times and this past stay was the worst I’ve had. My room was not ready upon check in and I was charged TWICE for parking for a one night stay and I didn’t even have a car there! So disappointed, it used to be the BEST place to stay. |The bar isn’t even open anymore and breakfast was overpriced and not very appealing. This is the first time I’ve considered staying elsewhere my next visit.

I recently changed jobs and new company travel is with Hilton. I was surprised in the last six months. I have stayed in Cincinnati,Jacksonville NC, the excellent Embassy in Wilmington NC and Alabama. Unfortunately the Hilton Garden Inn property does not live up to the Hilton standards. Plenty of other options when you are in the area and I suggest you try them. Well I am glad you respond to reviews but it is meaningless if you keep having the same complaints but do nothing about it. The hot water in bathrooms needs to be addressed.

The rooms were comfortable, clean and quiet. We didn’t eat breakfast there because the cheapest plate was $16. The fitness center needed a lot of work. One treadmill didn’t work at all. The second treadmill had a nonfunctional incline and tv. Finally, the elliptical made a loud click and slight jerk. The location was great as it was close to a lot of restaurants and shopping.

For having a buffet breakfast that is $18, I was expecting something much better than your average free hotel breakfast. This was the worst hotel breakfast I’ve ever had. We’ve had a great time so far staying here, but paying that much money for cold eggs, stale bread, and rubbery bacon really left a bad taste in our mouths.
