Went there for a nice lunch. The place is like Five Guys but with a bit more variety. The burgers are good and filling. The customer service is friendly and helpful. Got a bomb turkey burger with sweet potato fries. Go by yourself or with a few people. Plenty of space inside and outside.

I had the XXL bacon cheeseburger 🍔 Man this burger was mouthwatering and delicious! I got the combo meal with a drink and their skinny fries. They nice and Krispy! Also got a side order of onion rings to go with it. Also Krispy! Very great meal. No wait. Easy to get a seat and very fast service. The inside was also clean and well kept. When I want a fat burger I go to FATBURGER!

Food and service was good, but the amount of fries I got was the same size as a small fry at McDonald's, which is very little. I paid 15 dollars for the meal. You need to add more fries. It felt like a bad deal.

Oh my gosh! First time here on 10/16/23. I told the manager my burger was excellent, the fat fries were the hottest served fries I've ever had, and the restroom was sparkling clean. Fries were so hot and freshly cooked that I had to break them in half to cook abit! I had planned to go to In & Out for lunch and so glad I stumbled upon my new hamburger destination. I live in Vista but will definitely come to Escondido just for a Fat burger and Fat fries! I'm just finding out they have sweet potato fries. I'm going back today! Thank you

It was OK. I suppose on par with just about any other fast food burger place. I think I may have expected a bit more just cuz of the nearly 5 star reviews I saw and it looked kinda fancy inside but any way. Here goes my review. Loaded you up with proper before and after pics. I was 2 ND in line and ordering went quick. The customer service seemed to be about the bare minimum. Polite and helpful but not chatty and no smile, food arrived within 4 min, I ordered a traditional crispy chxn sandwich with frys and soda. I did ask for ranch of which she did bring over a couple in a tiny paper sauce cup. At first glance the sandwich looked very appealing I was alittle turned off when I saw the color of the cheese but it actually tasted fine. The frys were just the right amount of crispy to soft ratio, soda was good. Tables, floors and bathroom was clean. Wasn't to busy. They were playing rap on the speakers. My experience was just ok. May have just been me but seemed like just another ordinary fast food experience. So maybe just don't have to high of expectations and you won't be let down. So 5 stars anyway. All the important boxes got checked off. Thanks. Hope the pics help.

Definitely worth the buy over your fast food locations, their burger feels fresh and tastes great. The size of the burger is fairly larger than other locations. If you got time to get out your car and order then this would be a great location to stop by

This truly is the last great hamburger stand. Big fresh never frozen hamburger patties, fresh crispy perfectly diced ingredients, the right amount of condiments, and a bun that's slightly toasted on the inside. Even the fries, shakes, and chili fries are so good. I can't even make a better burger at home if I tired. Yeah, it's not cheap but it's the best.

Fat burger is a pretty decent hamburger chain. There are definitely better hamburger spots in San Diego, like Rocky’s, Duke’s fashion onion burger, the friendly Tavern, the Balboa, etc… but still, if you’re in the neighborhood and craving a burger, this will hit the spot.
