Local GuideThis place is terrific. Multiple levels of food stalls, purveying a large selection of food and drink, including meat, seafood, fresh produce, beverages of many types, herbs, spices, olive oils, cheeses, and more. There are also several places to sit down and enjoy drinks and/or prepared meals. I live in Seattle and while this is not as large as the Public Market at Pike Place, it's somewhat similar in vibe. Worth exploring both as a NYC resident or visitor.

Local GuideLots of good food. We had some of the best Pizza we've had in New York while there. The crust was perfectly crispy and tasty cheese and toppings. There are also some small grocery stores there. The only bad thing is they need more seating.

Local GuideThis is a super cool two level food hall and market on the Lower East Side. This is one of the better food halls in Manhattan. My favorite restaurant was the place downstairs serving Ukrainian and Eastern European dishes like Paprika Chicken and Goulash. I want to go back and try other places as well.

Que Chevere! Another Instagram find. Stopped by hungry after the Breast Cancer Walk and we were not disappointed. Pastelillos and Yuca Alcapurria's were crunchy and tasty. We tried the pernil and bistec both flavorful. Arroz con gandules and their habichuelas guisada were a hit. We also had their sweet plantains (piping hot!) and tostones(nice and crunchy)-both delicious. Definitely glad we stopped by. Thank you!

Local GuideI can't believe how far this below ground market has come over the years. Eclectic blend of little shops, food spots, and bars. Even music from a DJ station. Pretty clean too. The food items we tasted were really good, and the ambiance was NYC personified in the very best of ways

Local GuideInteresting industrial atmosphere. There’s tons of little shops endearingly crammed up the ceiling with countless varieties of rice cakes and cheerios. The good stuff is upstairs, but as I recall there were some pseudo authentic noodle places in the basement.
