Equinox Inn at Canyon Lake Bed & breakfast

Darrin and Keith were super friendly and helpful. Darrin has a flower shop on site and made my daughter a beautiful flower arrangement at the last moment. The rooms were clean, guests respected others guests and breakfast was lovely. My favorite part was the plethora of deer that would Come on property to be fed. Delighted.

This is the best B&B in town. Darrin and Keith are so sweet and accommodating upon my arrival and during my stay. I was here for 1 night on business getaway, Darrin took time to chat with me and get to know another. They communicated with me very well before and during the stay. The snacks and drinks downstairs are perfect after the long drive, the home-made breakfast and coffee in the morning was so good and refreshing for the first thing when you wake up followed by hanging out with the 2 sweet cats and deer there that you can walk up to in the backyard area. The kitties will greet you in the morning and at night to make sure you make it safe! The house is so cool, the theme is very cozy and perfect hill country vibes and the room was so nice and quiet , and the bed was amazing and comfortable also! It's far enough away and remote to relax but close enough to town and the river to go hang out during the day. Highly recommend it for couples or even solo and can't wait to come back!

What a fabulous place Equinox B & B is! Felt like I was visiting old friends. I felt free to be in the common areas, to eat breakfast wherever I wanted to be and to roam the property to look for wildlife. And my room was amazing! I stayed in the Garden room. It is completely decorated like a garden. Nice size fridge. Water available for drinking and making coffee. The bed was really comfortable. There is a jacuzzi on the spacious deck of the Garden room which was so relaxing. After time in the jacuzzi and a refreshing shower, I sleep so soundly. Breakfast is a dream. They ask before you even show up what your food allergies/preferences are and they completely accommodate. Before leaving I made reservations to return and bring my husband! Equinox and Canyon Lake is a great place to visit!

We loved being there the place is outstanding. It is one of the places in south Texas that you definitely do not want to pass up. Great location. We booked because you were recommended by a person my wife just met. Darrin and Keith made our 40th anniversary so special. They are such good hosts are making a difference every effort to get make each guest feel like home away from home. we were in the garden room love the mix of old and new. We will definitely book again and again. Thank for such a special stay.

The host and hostess outdid themselves. Better than expected. Due to dietary restrictions and needs, we were concerned about the experience, but wow did they deliver! So long as guests communicate with plenty of time, they will provide. Bedroom was perfect. Super comfortable beds. Lovely chandelier. Jacuzzi was a nice touch for tired muscles. Wifi is slow in the area and some businesses encourage cash. This couple explained everything to a tee. Fed their deer. Hung with cats. Great experience and we’ll be back!

How lucky we were to find this wonderful B&B! Nestled in the trees with a great view of Canyon Lake from our deck off the Stargazer suite which was totally clean and comfortable. Darrin and Keith are so interesting, friendly and know how to make all the guests feel immediately at home. And Darrin’s breakfasts made us wish we were staying longer!

This was the best experience in 42 years at a B & B. Darrin and Keith went over and above to make our stay comfortable. Room was exceptionally clean, breakfast was delicious, and their hospitality was warm and inviting, but not over powering. The balcony with morning coffee was the icing on the cake!

First time staying at a B&B, I didn’t know what to expect. Days before arriving we received an email with so much helpful information about the area and the B&B. Darrin greeted Us by name like she had known us for years, gave us a tour of the home, and lead us to The Captain’s Bay Suite. Wow!!! The Room was so spacious and very cozy, the king size bed was comfortable, the View is spectacular, and the large private balcony is enough to not want to leave the B&B. I now have a standard for what to expect in any hotel or B&B stay. This place is quite literally a home-away-from-home (ex: Darrin asking if you have any food allergies, any preferences) There really is just no other way to describe it. It's no wonder the owners are mentors for other hotels. We Highly recommend this place as a quick getaway for any couples trying to escape the hustle and bustle of life to recharge their batteries.
