South Bend’s East Race never disappoints! The East Race diversion is just south of the Century Center. The noise level is much louder as the flooded water furiously rushes through the raceway. And once it reaches the river again near the boat dock, it glides back into the St. Joe River as if it’s rushing anger has subsided. The river is still running swiftly because of being flooded, but it doesn’t display the rolling turmoil caused by the concrete obstacles that makes the East Race one of the Best kayaking training waterways in the US!

It was fun rafting down the river, but I think if the staff were more attentive, it would have been a better experience. We were pretty much ignored and had very little assistance with getting safely out of the raft. Also, the wait for the truck to drop off the rafts was pretty long considering it was a slow day.

Went to the U93 Duck Drop for Roofsit, with my daughter and granddaughter. We had so much fun. Looks like a great place to learn to kayak, too

There is a lot of walking to go back to the start. If anyone has health issues like I do, they would have a little more issue doing this. We took family and all had a blast.

I have no self experiences of my own. However I can't wait until the open. I'll be one of the first in line. I've passed by there and attendee an event there. Looking forward too it. I want to buy a season pass this year. If anyone is there this weekend please text me so I will drive there and get my season pass.

Awesome way to spend a summer weekend in South Bend. The rides are exciting and it's a cheap activity. Fair warning though- the life jackets and the helmets can seem gross!

We went with two other couples and had a great time going down the rapids. It's a lot of fun at a reasonable price!! The city should be commended for having this activity, among others.
