Local GuideWent to this wonderful west Indian grocery store this evening.....love everything about it, vegetables are fresh and the store is kept clean and tidy. Everything is in place. Moving from NYC to Rutherford NJ last August was hard because 2times a week am at liberty ave for evening:) lol. Ask out from by the coconut guy if I can put my 4 mangos and pineapple iny shopping bag he replied no! But I think the man who told me it's okay was the owner...not sure but he was very respectful and nice. He must know we not from Newark showing up like we did. You got your self a costumer for life. Diana.

Local GuideMy husband and I visit frequently. Really great establishment small but mighty. We get all Caribbean groceries like beta pack curry (it is super hard to find in regular grocery stores but they have it) picked up a Easter Bun and a ton of cheese today. One tip as my fellow West Indians already know please check the expiration date before you buy. Having supplies shipped over seas and the lack of turn over in certain groceries can lead to expiration while on the shelves and they don’t often know or swap them out so please just check to save yourself some money from having to throw something out you just bought. We have also purchased fruits and veggies from this grocery store and they are always fresh and nice. My fav snack is the cheese chips bear feet looking beauties lol they are to die for. We did not get any spicy ones as they were all expired that we could see so I was a little bummed out. Have not tried meat yet from this store but next run I will buy. Parking is also great here no need to worry there is a parking lot right in front of the store so it made it super easy for us load up the car and go.

Local GuideDuring my visit, customer service is efficient and kind. I buy a coconut! This is my first time buying a coconut in this manner in New Jersey. The entire process of preparing the coconut to drink from is appealing to me. My mom actually then prepares the coconut to eat from (after when I bring the coconut to share with her for drinking purposes). So, I experience a couple of enjoyable cultural moments through a coconut, and I'm grateful.

Local GuideUsually has the bun I'm looking for...and it's fresh. Items are WAAAY OVERPRICED though for most things. Customer service is always great. They go out of their way to get whatever you need.

Overall, this is an amazing spot to get all your GT needs in NJ. Shout out to KEVIN he makes this place feel like home. He's always friendly and willing to help. The owner is nice as well. You can always ask him for something, and if he doesn't have it, he'll try to get it. Keep up the good work.

There is limited international groceries here. It's good and convenient when needing quick 1-2 things. A little small store and not enough space to walk. People are very friendly. Could be pricey on some foods.
