Local GuideEven during the cold weather it is still a nice place to experience. This is a cool April morning but perfect to take a walk along the river upstream or downstream. Downstream is towards the falls and upstream is just a nice peaceful walk with nothing in the world bothering you. The ducks there are comfy enough with people that they waddle up to you and expect something, so all I could do is talk to them. Hahahhahah Such calm and peacefulness with the wind blowing and the only thing in front of you is the path to the next spot.

This park is a great place for families to enjoy the river, with smooth waters that are not deep. We took the hike to Cline Falls, which is mostly an easy hike just more than a half mile, with a bit of uneven terrain. To get the best view of the falls will take moderate rock climbing skills which can be done by most people who are reasonably in shape. The falls offer a great place to explore as the water was not very deep. Excellent place to spend an hour or two with the family!

Local GuideA spur of the moment decision to take my daughter to Cline Falls turned out to be good one. The weather was perfect for the cold, mountain fed Deschutes River, with the added bonus of other children to play with & of course a good venue to fly my drones it was a 5☆ day. I certainly would recommend others to visit this popular location.

Local GuideIf you’re ever in Bend or Redmond I would highly recommend this little nature slice of paradise, the river was relatively low wade wise… It was still too cold to swim for any chunk of times but the birds, the rocks in the river etc all help make this a great respite from the work/travel life. I’ve seen the birds fly by, the dragonflies mate, and the wildlife stroll by. 🥰

Local GuideThe area around the parking area is beautiful but if you really want a view hike towards the freeway and under the overpass all the way down to the falls. The view is breathtakingly beautiful. Keeping hiking for several miles to get to several other falls. to see them and get back is an all day trek. Hiking from Cline Falls is the only way to get to them.

Great area for a picnic. Many areas to wade in water Bathrooms very clean! Asphalt paths are uneven .9 mile walk to Cline Falls. Walk downstream from parking lot. Then take dirt path marked Cline Falls. Take dirt path all the way past the bridge. You are About 6 minute walk from falls once you make it under the bridge. Bridge area has areas where you can get into river at the falls you can’t get in unless you go further down stream.

My little heaven a little away from home love coming here, love hiking to the short easy walk to the falls. The park has always been well maintained and the restrooms
