We are titanium for life with Marriott and rarely ever sway. However, we were looking to stay close to forest park and our daughter was in a program at WashU for a week. This hotel was the absolute best decision! We thoroughly enjoyed it and appreciated the boutique feel and hospitality. The access to forest park was unparalleled and the museums, zoo, boathouse and the MUNY were all within 2 miles (we actually walked most days). Additionally, the extra amenities such as complimentary laundry,, break out rooms and the easily accessible parking garage made the stay even better. Cannot recommend enough.
Thank you for the positive feedback, Kennedy! Come back and visit anytime!

Crystal and Leah provided outstanding service. In fact, we found all the staff at the hotel to be among the nicest and most helpful of any hotel employees we’ve ever met. We hope we have the chance to return soon!
Thank you for your review, Jared. We are thrilled to hear that our team made your stay a positive experience. Come back anytime!

Don't park in their garage without making sure you are not in "permit only" parking space. They are not well-marked and I was issued two citations inside a 24 hour period. I appealed to the university transportation department and was declined.

We only spent one night as we were visiting the Wash U campus. We primarily chose this hotel due to its amazing location as it is truly located on the school's campus. It is connected to the Olin Business School and steps away from the rest of the campus. ||Even though we focused on the location, I was impressed with the quality of the hotel. The front desk clerk was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and larger and nicer than I expected. They have a free COVID-friendly breakfast option or you can go to Starbucks next door. Plus, they have well-stocked pantries on every floor for grab-and-go snacks and beverages. That was a nice surprise! It was also very quiet throughout. ||I would definitely stay here again when visiting the Wash U campus.

I'm very happy that we have our Team Offsite here twice a year. But, I'm subtracting a star because the first rule of event planning is don't let the room get too hot. It got up to 78°. People were dozing off despite the fact that we have good speakers presenting interesting content. I think most would agree a meeting room should always be between 68° and 72°. This facility is expensive to to rent so it's really disappointing that people had a hard time staying alert because it got so warm. I still like this facility because it is clean, well maintained, we never have tech issues, serves excellent food including snacks and beverages, and the staff serving us is always great. Parking is good too.

I was visiting St. Louis, with activities near Wash U, and stayed at the Knight Center for one night. It was a suitable stay for that length.||||Pluses: easy access to Wash. U's campus (after all, it's on campus), which is beautiful. Excellent and warm service at check-in and check-out. A quiet, clean room, which included nice amenities (e.g., fast internet, nice toiletries, etc.). I slept well.||||Improvement areas: while in okay condition and clean, the rooms could use a refresh; the decor and furniture feel a little past their prime. (For example, in a relatively small guest room, a huge pine cabinet meant to hold an old-style television takes up a huge amount of space; in the area of the flat screen, this kind of bulky furniture could be removed/replaced with something that takes up far less space.) The pantries, while nice in concept, need to be more fully stocked; during my stay, the snack options were a bag of Lay's or some Lucky Charms--I would have appreciated, for example, a granola bar or a package of nuts. Hallways were a little scuffed, etc., from years of bags against the walls. The fitness center was closed; while the campus has a huge recreation center, it does cost $10/day to access.||||Overall, a nice, but not perfect, visit; I'd return. The rooms are solid for a solo traveler; if you were traveling with a family, or for a longer visit, their small size could prove a challenge.

I stayed here three nights in April 2023.||The property has declined and is in serious need of a renovation. ||In addition to the decor feeling about 20 years old, my room had one plug hanging out of the wall and a plug in the desk dangling from the front. Furniture in the room was scuffed and splintered in multiple locations. Curtains were hard to open. Carpet was worn. For the price, which matched that of newer hotels in the surrounding area, this was disappointing.||The property had traditionally had guest pantries on each floor. This amenity had been substantially reduced—while the pantry was still present, its only amenity was a coffee machine. Snack shelves were empty; soda, etc. was not available.||If you have business on Wash U’s campus, the location remains ideal, but the place has a “past its prime” feel about it and would benefit from a substantial modernization.

I stayed here for a weekend while visiting my daughter who is a student at WashU. It is right on campus which was perfect for me. There is parking in the garage directly across the road from the hotel. Even though parking is $9/day, after 5p on Friday through Sunday, there is no charge. The staff at check in were so welcoming. The room was very clean and comfortable and quiet. There was a fully stocked pantry on the floor filled with complimentary snacks like packaged chips, cookies and there were sodas and juices in the fridge. Breakfast is also included with a good variety of items such as scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, fruit and oatmeal.||It was very convenient since it is on campus, and it was a very pleasant stay. I will certainly be staying here again soon!
