Zeeshan Restaurant Apna Hyderabadi Food Hyderabadi restaurant

Ordered so called biryani , ghee dominated the whole spices, for all aromatics god knows what happened to them, and food colour dominated the biryani presentation,it's not a hyderabadi biryani it's road side biryani by the way that is so better compared to this. By the way starters were somewhat better.

The ambience of the restaurant was really good. It was neat and cozy. However, it was a small restaurant. The prices of the dishes were bit expensive. The presentation of dishes was good! Their Chicken Roast is must try! It was very spicy but it was really good. Their Hyderabadi dum biryani was also spicy but good. We tried one of their desserts. It seemed and tasted like an old one. It was very sour and we couldn't eat more than one spoon. We deeply regretted buying it. I have not tasted it at any other restaurant, so not sure if that was the actual taste of that dessert.

Zeeshan, a restaurant I visited for lunch last Saturday (10.06.2023), left a positive impression. The tomato soup was exceptional, with a rich and satisfying flavor. The chicken roast, while familiar in taste, impressed with its generous portion size. The mutton special biryani maintained its usual deliciousness. I concluded the meal with a refreshing watermelon juice. The servers' gentle behavior and attentive service, along with the decent ambiance, added to the overall enjoyable experience.

This restaurant is located on the Navalur main road and it's very near to Navalur Sipcot entrance gate. We went to this restaurant as a group of friends and we ordered very few varieties to try. Overall experience was good. Food quantity is more and the quality of food is above average. Mutton biryani was overpriced (Rs. 399 for a single person and 599 for 2 persons - with only one egg) and they need to improve a lot to cook the mutton pieces. All the mutton pieces are very huge in size and it's almost impossible to swallow because of its hardness. Parking is a very big challenge, they don't have very very limited parking in front of the restaurant, but we can park our four wheelers in the nearby service road. Mutton soup was good in taste but again it's pricey. We ordered Fish manchurian dry, but the portion they provided was completely gravy style (I don't know if we would have ordered gravy, then how would be the machrian), too much of flours and very less fish and/or we couldn't feel it was fish. But tasty wise, it was good as similar to other chinese food items. Anyway, we enjoyed our time in the restaurant and we didn't waste any food.Zeeshan is famous for Hyderabad biriyani!! Excellent food, we ordered Arabian chicken Mandi and Chicken Dum Biryani, both were delicious, Mandi was authentic ,half Mandi was sufficient for 2 Adults + 2 kids . Ambience was great
