Whispering Pines Home Stay - Hotel in Dharampur, Kasauli - Solan, India

If you really want a break from the hustle bustle life of Delhi this place is for you. The only thing here is the view of the valley, weather and peace. During my stay of 3 days I heard very few sounds besides nature. It is a home stay with amazing food, although pricing is a bit on the higher side but the food is freshly cooked by the caretaker of this property Mr Pawan Kumar. He is very very cooperative and he really took a great care of us. And the owner Mr ratish is very decent and helpful person. Overall it was an amazing experience living here. We were given super deluxe room with attach balcony. Rooms are really very good and spacious. We were 5 adults and two grown up kids who were easily accommodated in two rooms. Love the stay here and recommend people to come and enjoy the peace and serenity of the area. There is a beautiful treck starting from the property. Amazing weather and clean air.

Pathetic property i have ever ever seen on this planet. If you still have a lots of money in your pocket, better donate to a old age home or better stay on the roadside in hut rather than staying at this creepy place. The owner of this property is so so rude and he doesn't even know how to talk to girls. He disrespected and talked in rude and such an arrogant manner with our female guests and female family members. This property should be banned and removed from all the property booking apps such as goibibo, booking.com, makemytrip etc. No COVID19 guidelines are being followed and alcohol bottles are spread all around the place. The bedsheets were dirty, flush not working, no water, tea kettle, nor teabags. Egg rotten smell was coming from inside the room and despite multiple calls also it wasn't cleaned. Please never ever think of visiting this place. All you will get is we can do nothing and owner is not at all bothered. I would definitely write a mail to all the booking apps too. In short pathetic service, pathetic staff and the owner and creepy property. Google should bring one feature of giving negative ratings. ------100 rating

Extremely poor service and the owner is Extremely arrogant. In breakfast they serve boiled water when we ask them to serve tea. They gave us torn bed sheets, flush was not working, room was smelling of rotten eggs. If u really want to waste your time and money please do book this property.

loved the place....there is a narrow road to get to this hotel please make sure you call the person before you reach as the way to get there is very crooked. One can easily miss the turn to this place. The checkin was quick and the food is nice home cooked and yummy. The thing to die for is the breathtaking view from its balcony you can see the mountains and the clouds settling down. My stay was wonderful and i will definitely come back to this place again.The rooms are clean and spacious.

Ours was a 3 day trip to Kasauli nd going by the review we decided to spend 3rd day at this location(we spend 2 days in another hotel and the stay was awesome). That was a terrible mistake and we regret it. We booked 2 rooms. We got one room with balcony with scenic beauty and one without, hence no scenic beauty. Hotel around 3km off the main road down the forest. NOT AT ALL RECOMMENDED FOR FAMILY AND COUPLE. IDEAL FOR BACHELORS ONLY. Welcome drink- you won't get it unless you ask for it( as confessed by the owner). Free breakfast- you will get only 4parathas with a bowl of curd (if you opt for parathas) even if you book the room for 2 adults +1 child (chargeable) and they call it a homestay with home like atmosphere.(its actually a hostelstay) RO water purification system(as mentioned in their hotel info)- A BIG NO. They don't have a provision for drinking water. The will give you CHARGEABLE packaged drinking water and they won't even tell you. "You should ask the staff if they are going to charge for the water, they will not tell you" as told to us by the owner himself Cook service - Yes. They hv a full-fledged menu but any item you chose they politely refuse you citing any problem or other. Ultimately u will have to eat what they want us to and no tandoori items served there as they hv no tandoor there and they won't get it for you from outside also. Also you have to pre plan your menu but even if you plan your menu and inform them 8 hours before they will politely refuse in evening and give you their option either you have what they prepare or you get it from outside. Not only menu you also need to plan the exact quantity, if you calculate for 12 roti's you will get 12 only. All the food including rotis is served in one shot and not to mention the food is cold. They say it is justified as it is a home stay, I don't know which home eats cold food . Morning tea- You won't get it before 8am.(and they don't provide you with electric kettle also) If you are used to an early morning tea forget it .You cannot have even a hot water during night for kids if you need it . Cleanliness: Clean washrooms, but you have got company of cobwebs and mosquitoes in bedroom. They won't provide you with any insect repellant. Carry one with you if you are choosing this place. Wi-Fi- Available only in the balcony. Only whatsapp works in the bedroom Phone signal- NO VODAFONE AND AIRTEL. And there is no accountable person to contact for in case of emergency or if you have any issues and you can't call any help by yourself as there is no network. Owner : He does not have any interest in the problem faced by the guests .When we asked him to meet us in person he simply refused telling us that he is not present at his place.( he is also staying nearby this location). But when the thing got worse he himself appeared out of nowhere to tell us that he is not our servant so will not come on our request or demand. The place is awesome, if u need peace of mind. Beautiful view with lovely terrace. Rooms are nice & cosy, room service is superb. Food truly home like & best part is the warm nature of the owner. His personal touch makes all the difference.

Hotels location is best. one of the best Hotel in the Main kasouli, Service was gd and food was fine.. I always prefer to stay at this hotel , whenever visit here. view from. the windows are awesome. I stayed in super deluxe room. Room was big. The only problem I face was that I couldn't get Towel till 3 he after check in , even later the towels were not cleaned properly. But overall it's a good Hotel and surely in my next trip to kasouli I l stay here. Prefer Book online via goibibo to get low rates..

Our stay at this home stay was amazing. Exactly in the lap of nature, surrounded by lush green view. We walked down in the valley with fresh air. This place is definitely away from market but its actually good. No noise, no pollution. I recommend every one to visit this place once. In a word it's superb place with excellent service with cooperation.
