1. The location of the property and the property itself are great.Their restaurant staff was very hospitable. These are the only good things about this property. 2. Their remaining staff was pathetic. Around 2am, my daughter woke up crying for milk. I called the reception twice, but no one picked the call. I tried calling them again around 5am with no luck. I went downstairs and called for help, but no one turned up. I went out of the building, but it was all dark (there is no street lighting in the property), so I had to return to my room, because it was risky to go to the reception area, which is almost 500m from the palace building. I had to call them again at 6am and someone picked the call and I placed the order for milk. 3. The area of the property is huge and no one gave us the property tour. We had no clue who and where to reach out, in the situation mentioned above. 4. The lighting in the room was haunting us. 5. We get 4-5 options only in the breakfast buffet which mainly includes parantha, bread butter, idli, dosa and one any random item. They do not have the option for lunch and dinner buffet. 6. I paid INR 65K+ for 2 days to stay in the Maharani suite of this property. When I inquired about the horse cart, I was told that I will have to pay INR 5K+ taxes for the same. I would also like to highlight that they charged INR 3K+taxes for the birthday cake (and some balloons), while Aurika Udaipur did not charge a penny for the birthday cake. It is important to note here that we celebrated my daughter's birthday in this property. It demonstrates the poor customer obsession of the management. 7. Overall experience is not that great. The only saviour was the property. If I pay 50% of what I had paid, I would be satisfied with the kind of services we received.

Such a disappointment, a beautiful heritage site, beautiful environment, and then amazing lake and amazing rooms. Sadly, I was furious and disappointed throughout this day, because first of all. The location on Google what's wrong therefore, I had to pay extra for my card to reach the location and figure it out. I think that there was no number that I could reach. When I was doing my booking, I do that through the phone through the website of heritage stays and I did and I was confirmed my booking when I reached my booking wasn't there and I had to wait until they figured it out. Adding to that on the phone, I was told a price that was not the same. When I reached the hotel, which made me extremely furious for the service I was met with. They still did not give anything in advance, and they increase the price by a huge amount, which I did not know about, and was not told once I reach the nor during my stay. Extremely disappointed I'm so sad that I had to pay a lot of money and be the sad and furious at the end of my stay after seeing such a beautiful place should be kept and well taken off and communication should be much clearer

Upon arrival with a family waited for 15 minutes for a table in empty restaurant, tables were messy and dirty, Food was awful and tasteless, no instruction followed. Road side cart vendors have better food, service and hygiene in Jodhpur than Bal Samand. Completely spoiled family dinner. Not recommended for dine in. Better check near by similar places for better experience

Very nice hotel, beautiful swimming pool, amazing garden and amazing horses. We fel in love. Congratulations to all of you. The rooms are clean and confortable. The restaurant was good but a bit expensive (the wine was expensive).

Bal Samand Lake Palace in Jodhpur is a beautifully maintained property that offers a glimpse into the life of erstwhile royals and the culture of Jodhpur. The rooms are made by restoring old horse stables and are aesthetically designed. The food is delicious, and the dal makhani is one of the best I've ever had. The ambience is perfect for a relaxing getaway amid nature. The property is gorgeous during the monsoons and offers views of rain-washed natural beauty in all corners. It is a splendid experience to visit Kebab Konner during winter when the warm and hospitable staff serves food by the fire. We savoured the most scintillating views of the Bal Samand Lake and the surreal sunset from the Sundeck and enjoyed the nature flanking our sides together with the sounds of birds as we walked along the many beautiful trails of the property. Overall, a delightful hotel and one of my family's favourite getaway places.

Balsamand Lake palace is a heritage hotel located near the Mandor area. It's beautiful property with 2 types of rooms the Garden Rooms & the Palace Room. It's a lush green area with lots of birds and wildlife in the middle of the city if you are Nature Lover and looking for a luxury stay in Jodhpur this is one of the best options. They have a beautiful pool, indoor and outdoor restaurant (Kabab Corner an open kitchen restaurant in the garden) The food is great. The staff is very kind and helpful
